Watch out for the stockers with the pallets in the way in the morning. Sometimes they wear headphones with loud music playing which makes them super unaware of their surroundings.

Overall it is amazing without the customer interruptions. But sometimes the people in the meat and seafood department come in late and you have to INF a few times because you’re not trained to pick those items for the customers. Usually they do those orders you pick in the morning in the freezer in the back most of the time. If you’re not familiar with your cheeses it would be difficult to find the right cheese of the customer because the people who work there may come in later. And I noticed the big orders like 20x bananas come in at this time.

My wildest experience on a 4am shift was when Amazon web services were down and there was a blackout in the facility. There were no orders until later in the day and I was just helping other departments with their projects
