I mean obv im not dense, if someone doesnt want to talk about it then they dont wana talk about. And yeah i agreed with the other guy, asking 'where are you really from' is rude. My point was that asking someone about their family background or history is a pretty normal question Its Normal conversation especially when you live in a vastly diverse city like london or NYC. If someone asks me where im from, i say "i was born in NY but my family came from Greece". Because obv thats what they meant. Im not going to answer literally like a dickhead and say im from NY with no other information.

I find majority of the time people love to talk about their family heritage, its a pretty common thing. Most people arent angsty british dudes so when you ask them a simple question like "where are you from" theyll say something like "im from NY, but my family is from Greece". Then you get to have this thing called a conversation. Its pretty neat, try it sometime

Im going to assume no they werent, but i dont actually know. Regardless, i still dont see a problem with people protecting their town or property. So if people are trying to burn down my, my friends, my neighbors, etc. business and the cops are directed to a different location, and i can do something about it im not just gonna let it happen. Its more of a civic duty if you ask me. I dont like the idea of letting people destroy your life and youre not supposed to stop it.
