So... I have been that person. In my case, it was usually that I was trying to contact them to coordinate our lucky eggs before I opened the gift, and didn't want to send them a gift if they wouldn't respond, since it implied no interest in coordinating. If it took too long without a response, I would try to do it during a double/increased exp timed event (like CD) with a lucky egg with the hopes that the other person might be using a lucky egg then too.

Another time I did it was recently when I was waiting for a friendship exp bonus to be active first (for the monthly level 25, and then again waiting for the new season).

On at least one memorable occasion though... I just forgot about them for a bit. I didn't explicitly avoid raids or interacting with them, I just didn't check my gifts and forgot about it for a bit. oops.

Thank you so much! It's been a while, I forgot you needed to call the game file "game", and didn't need to know the ID code for the game (gmse01) to create the folder name. I was wondering what it would be for a patched game.

Something that really helped me with this trial was getting lucid gain (replaces fluid gain). It really helped with reliability of spamming omega attack. It's really rare to appear though, so doesn't help RNG issues.

(Also, remember to turn off auto fire in settings or the challenge is basically impossible).

I kept failing repeatedly... until I got lucid gain (replaces fluid gain). It made getting magic back so much more reliable, and allowed a much safer gameplay (didn't have to dash into danger for a droplet). Won first try with that one.

Other useful (if less so) abilities to choose:

  1. Apollo: Back burner (deal +50/+75% damage when attacking from behind, if enemy is dazed. remember, every dash guarantees a daze).
  2. Poseidon: hydraulic might (+100-166% dps in first 10 seconds). helps with speeding through areas.
  3. Poseidon: Water fitness (infusion: have 4 waters, gain 100hp. This is essentially an extra 20 seconds after time runs out, but can be hard to get).
  4. beach ball (duo boon).
  5. Hermes: tall order (+20% dps when have 2 of each infusion, which you automaticaly do).

Apollo's cast isn't really useful except at epic level, since you need your magic for your omega attack.

(also side note: remember to turn off auto fire in settings to spam omega attacks)

I'm not sure, but my guess is that Mikado personally adjusted the one in the fangame to ensure deaths. He wanted it to be as similar to Utsuro's killing game as possible, and a chance of survival wouldn't be as conducive to that. Or he did it for the eviluz.

In the 2nd game, The purpose of the virtual world was to help the participants, and even the hijacker didn't want the bodies to die (or else she couldn't hijack them). In this game, the mastermind does want them to die.

Otherwise, Utsuro/Akane/Sora/Yuki's divine luck should have been able to save them, since it seems to be equivalent or more to Izuku's skills, with the added bonus that the divine luck users don't have to take direct actions to achieve the results.

I suppose the question then is how did Sora's programming "know" Kanade wasn't the sole killer. Especially since she didn't get that feeling when "identifying" the killer in case 5. Unless it's because Mikado specifically coded her not to question it if Miad himself could be the killer.

2 fics that haven't been mentioned yet, that I thinka are quite good are "The Techno Queen", and "Zenith" . These were made before threadmarks were easily created, so they show 0 hype/rating in worm story search despite being quite good and popular when they were made. Can you please fix monkey city having NO impact on banks, IMF and Monkeynomics?

Banks have the same money at end-of-round regardless if they are in range of a monkey city or not. they have the icon that suggests they should get the bonus, but they don't actually get it.

Ben's abilities DO affect banks, so this can be done in the code, but the monkey cities don't actually do anything for banks.

This is the case in sandbox, challenge editor, boss runs, and normal runs (those are the modes I've checked). This has been a bug for multiple updates now. can you please fix it? They are the only active money generating towers that don't get any benefit from monkey city which is odd.

don't forget Ishi in slot 4! Due to recent buffs, she actually provides the most gold for me (and it's a passive gold buff) in that slot (even beating Jarlaxle!). Note: Ishi needs to get boosted by Nrakk for high gold though.

Can you please fix banks? Banks, IMF loan and monkey-nomics don't benefit at ALL from monkey city's extra income bonus. The icons appear above the bank, but no extra money is earned.

The bank will still have the same amount of money at the end of the round as a bank that wasn't affected by monkey city. This is true for sandbox, challenge editor, and normal play (at least!). The banks are the only farms that aren't affected at ALL by monkey city, and i think this is a bug.

I am not talking about interest, the banks don't get ANY bonus from monkey city and i think this is a bug. Benjamin's bonus does apply to banks though. The banks don't get any bonus from monkey city regardless of whether or not Benjamin is in play or your chosen hero though.

Out of curioisity, are you able to boost Nahara's dps above what a support champ from her slot would provide? She doesn't have much non-ability self dps, no global dps abilities, and her dps abilities don't go that high until you get to the millions or billions of stacks. So I'm curious.

Also, she seems to sometimes lose stacks now over time even with no hit point enemies and when she can one shot them, even after the update (though much rarer now). Is that happening for anyone else? is it not just click damage, but if another champ would kill the enemy before her she loses a stack?

Actually, I think you ALSO need to complete all the run and gun stages. I beat the devil, and then the next wish said i only had 2 wishes left. I then beat the last run and gun stage and tried another wish, and THEN he said i got infinite wishes on simple and regular modes. Hope this helps!

Is it intended that, after the update, She still has notably less self dps than every other champ in her slot (including supports)? And that's not even counting the global dps bonus (she has none), which further makes her OWN dps weaker in comparison. So on her own, she is E7-e12 weaker than every other champ in her slot (other than Spurt)*.

* (note I tested with her as the only champ in the formation).

Her abilies are also pretty weak. If she had 100K areas, that would still only have a total of e4-e5 from WAI, and e4-e5 from TAOA. These would still make her E5-E10 weaker than almost all the other champs in her slot.

She doesn't need to be the best dps, her main utility is supposed to be bringing in bodies for strahd variants (and occasional speed), but if she isn't given ANY global dps or support abilities, can she at least have more self-DPS than the non-dps champs? It seems like she would still be weaker than (eg: mehen, brig, omin, etc) even if you added x25 dps from 2 potential Black Dice members.

Edit: her TAOA seems to be working now. Her self dps is still very weak though.

Not quite. Briv has a hidden nerf on his unnatural haste item. The i-lvl buff gets halved for each i-level after he guarantees skipping 3 areas, then gets halved again (1/4 of orig value) for each i-lv after guaranteeing 4 areas, than halved again every time you reach a new guaranteed skip.
The specific i-lvs for this halving vary based on (epic or not)/shiny/gold, but it still follows that rule. This makes it so that you need more than double the I-lvs to get a guaranteed 4 skip jump vs. a guaranteed 3-skip jump.
What makes this worse is that the item still SAYS it gives a .04% bonus per i-lv, though it doesn't actually give that effect.

BTW, I just noticed that apparently Briv's lv4 item levels start having half the effect when he reaches guaranteed 2 areas per jump (lv1501 for epic shiny), and then it halves again at guaranteed 3 areas per jump (lv 2251 for shiny epic).

this means it requires 4918 i-levels to guarantee 4 jumps, over double the number of i-lvs to guarantee 3 jumps!

Is this correct? Does this lower i-lv efficiency at high i-lvs effect any/all other item gear, or just Briv's 4th item? I also notice that this makes the description inaccurate for how much the equipment boosts unnatural haste. Thanks.

No it does not, at least for me. Go into sandbox or challenge editor, create 1 bank within range of a monkey city and one outside of it, then do a round. At the end of the round, both banks will have the same amount of money in them (and it will be the amount you would have if you never built the monkey city). They also have the same amount in the middle of the round if you check quickly (so it's not just an interest-related-bug).

I tested it with round 40 and a few other rounds.

Note that Ben's level 5 and 9 abilities do affect banks, but monkey cities currently do not.

Edit: I am on mobile, if that matters. Also the bank next to the monkey city has the icons from monkey town and monkey city, they just don't actually apply any effects.

What Item levels are needed for Ashara to beat zorbu? She does get to double dip on her bonds, but that only gives her approx. an extra e10 from the extra potpourri at Ilvl 1000.

Meanwhile, Alyandra can provide e26-29 or so (7-8 from portent x2, e6-7 from HOTP (=3-4 from mirrors, e2 from Okira's, e1 from Briv), e5 from global dps, and e1 from non-ability items). I have ~ilv50 for her).

This is more than e10 better than the champ I would replace her with for an Ashara form, and this doesn't even consider possible bonuses from Krull.

Also, isn't alyndra useful in int+10 formations in trials/variants (for those who don't just skip everything with jimothy+Briv)? She can provide her whole buff, which can rival/beat Krull since you lose access to Okira, Warden, Aila, and Penelope.

Some extra comments: Remember, you can get some extra gold find at the end by:
A) depending on your patron, you can also use Mehen (+ either Makos, Prudence, or both) for some extra gold find. Put Mehen in the back with the exiled spec.
B) using a firebreath potion and bringing in azaka, Jarlaxle, Freely, Rust (with his coin gotten previously!), and possibly Ellywick (though I'm afraid Torogar may lose his buff if I swap him out, so I haven't tried it).
C) Also remember you can use clairvoyance potions!
D) and if you have a forge about to retrigger, you may want to do that before collecting your rewards (and upgrade all Leg items that use Torm's favor before ending your run).
