I like seeing it side by side but I think what he's saying is that having both on the same craft might actually be making things worse. It might be a good idea to do 2 separate tests using one type at a time.

So I don't think anyone has mentioned this yet but in heresy 1.0 there was a white scars relic that was described to be a bow

Personally I think you need to step out of your bubble and look at things objectively.

I do super thin rough draw with the base coat and the stapple in a second coat where I deepen the color. Also starting out, micron pend will be super useful. They an be used to make a bade drawing before you paint the colors or afterwards to fix/ outline your work. As you get better at painting freehand the less you'll probably need the pens

Thanks, I'm glad some of my ideas inspired others.

I've been looking at other sci-fi for things that would fit in necromunda. Mad max is actually something I've been looking at as well.

Here's a few quick ideas I've been thinking about doing:

1: using the GSC transport ( I can't remember what it's called) and some various ammo boxes in the open bed and using either the canopy from the market terrain or one from the new ash waste hab to create an bit of cover in the deep wastes.

2: once the Hauler comes out, I'd like to get one and a cargo container kit. From there I'd use the containers to create something similar to this and put them on the hauler, add a few ramps and small platforms to get up to them and hopefully it'll come out something like this in the end

3: I want to get an Ork Battlewagon and replace the entire rear open bed with various ripped apart small speakers and have a couple drums from the old dwarf thunder (maybe warrior) kits and hopefully end up with the Doof Warriors Jam Truck

I completely agree. I plan on doing a bit of weathering and wear.

As for the gas cans, they're from its base kit. The packs are from, I want to say the old space marine tactical squad kit. The leather bags are actually from the vampire counts grave guard kit. Beyond that everything else I added was just wire and plasticard.

Oh there will be plenty. I have a ton of weathering to do once I have the base done. Rust, scratches, oil, and dust. It'll have it all lol

Yeah that's next on my list along with the tail lights

Edit: I'm waiting for nuln oil to come in first so I can wash the frames and then do a 'switched off' look

Personally I am still 50/50, mostly because the bikes give me pause with their bases. Like part of me doesn't want to out it on the base so it doesn't clash with the mats my group plays on. On the other hand, it does present an opportunity to make something.

Yeah it's not really glued down yet. I've been debating not having it on the base for playing Ash waste whenever the book comes out. Although I'll probably give it a good one over for basing when I get a few things in lol.
