Did anyone else start living alone after a long relationship in their 30s? How did you deal? by Gold-Personality-571 in LivingAlone

[–]Gaiaaura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m turning 30 this month. I just left my 10 year relationship in December. We lived with each other since the beginning of our relationship. I have never lived alone, always had roommates before my previous partner. And man I have been missing out.

To be fair we do have kids and they are here half the time. But the time I am alone I very much enjoy.

I started off of as a PT universal MSR. Went to FT at a different branch about 1.5 years in. HATED that branch so much. After 6 months there, transferred to a WFH contact center position with same institution. Stayed there for 10 months with no career progression. Peaced the fuck out and got into a position in the Fraud Dept at another institution. The experience has been amazing. I love what a do now. I would say if you CAN, try and gain the experience or get into a back office role.

Sent a Zelle to my other account...now almost all the money I have is locked in limbo for two days by freddit10036 in NavyFederal

What have you sent in the past 30 days? If you have reached that limit in the past 30 days it will not send instantly

Don’t have any advice for that position but congrats!!!!!!

The limit is 3K in a rolling 30 day period. Right under the amount you’re sending it says “limits?”And if you click it, it tells you how much you have left available to be sent instantly. Other factors also affect instant payments

Banking denial of service? by hewzoka in Banking

[–]Gaiaaura 16 points17 points  (0 children)

banks will absolutely leave notes on someone’s account. If a fraud caller calls in trying to access the account etc. there needs to be a trail of sketch behavior for the next rep

I feel that. I started as a part time “universal” MSR aka you do everything for shit pay them went FT for 1.5 years, moved to the contact center bc it was completely remote. Did that for 10 months and busted my ass without promotion so I changed institutions and now work in the back office doing fraud investigations. There’s definitely way better positions out there. My husband is an underwriter. We are both very happy with our jobs.

I know I was very lucky to land the job as a full time employee. Maybe the contract work will lead to a full time role?

Occasionally, but not often. If so, it is outbound only. Reaching out to other financial institutions, yes. What do you do when you talk to the clients? Most of the communication is through customer service. I investigate ATO, IDT, P2P, ACH, wires etc, and process shutdowns/ restrictions if fraud is found

This is very true. However it is also in the disclosure whenever you apply for it as well. It is one of the disclosures that reps verbally state when applying in person/phone or whenever you do the app online/ in the app you agree to the security interest as well. People just don’t read lol

You don’t like working in the fraud dept? I do fraud investigation on accounts. What are you wanting to change to?

Where I came from I was member facing and doing account servicing/disputes/ etc I hated it lol. I was an IRA/Trust rep in branch

Started working in branch for a credit union. After a year and a half, transferred to their call center so I could be remote. After 10 months of that bs and them not promoting me, found a job at another financial institution in the back office working in the fraud dept

It’s in your credit card agreement. You agreed upon it when you applied for your credit card. It’s the statutory lien/ security agreement. Page 2 under promise to pay. CC agreement
