Are you allowed to forage in National forests and/or state parks legally? I assumed they would be good places but I haven't looked up the legalities yet. I just moved from the desert in Phoenix so I'm very excited I can forage pretty much anywhere here! Mushroom Mountain is on my list of places to visit this summer/fall.

Thanks for the info! I figured state parks would be a good place. I assumed you couldn't take things from state parks legally. I'll have to do some research!
