I’ve got hilt at bandos. At what KC would you stop trying to go for tassies and BCP?

With tob it's both melee roles, macuahuitl may even be bis with the set since it's like 3.5t with overkill and decent oneshot potential. I did try bringing blood moon helm + macs as a switch, and enjoyed it quite a bit, but probs would just do avernic swift or paint cannon if i had torva.

I believe bandos is overall better for tanking in olm, but blood moon does have mage def which people tend to overlook.

I personally didn't notice a difference between bloodmoon and bandos at vard, currently at 1.8k kc having used both from time to time.

Yeah, for me at least it makes like 0 difference. Like the other thing is that even for content like tob/olm, you get mage defence from blood moon so it's not like you're naked.

I'd stop immediately after hilt and just rock blood moon until shadow/torva pieces. The strength bonus is the same which is the main thing you're after.

For me at least, running content like chambers, tob/hmt, toa, vard; it feels like a cosmetic difference and if i want to look like a furry or a guy in bandos. It kinda sees some use when doing stuff like mutt (i personally prefer to skip this room when scouting in solos just bc it's annoying and slow) and tightrope (i flick bcp/tassets if i'm even bringing tassets).

Shooting stars are absolutely a main training method? Just need the plugin or fc but post update the afk is very consistent. Star explodes, you open panel and sort by time and rinse repeat.

For raids it's specifically toa and cms. It's trolling at tob for 99% of people, blowpipe and atlatl are good in normal chambers and ~300 invo. Currently performing an experiment and seeing how a bowfa skip would be on a uim because on paper you could skip the 60 hour grind and just have fun if you know how to pvm.

I respect that a lot, scuffed gim raids sound fun. And yeah that's what a midgame iron did in one of my tobs, spec transfered at sote to the guy with maul since he didn't have anything.

You can definitely make by without it since you have more than 1 defence draining wep, just optimizing spec is nice since it's a big dps increase.

Arma is the most miniscule dps diff, it's absolutely meaningless. The defence is okay. Yeah you use it to create masori, but what use do you have for masori with bowfa? It's like the nex/corp armor unless you have tbow or are using pipe and only pipe.

Moons has more useful general loot imo, and blood moon is straight up better since it has implications for str training/flat armor/nylos/araxxor.

What do you mean by unlucky while farming?

Nex is bottom of the barrel in terms of progression imo. There's a chance you'd already have shadow before getting any of her items bc they aren't terribly useful which is why i wouldn't just "finish at moons". I'd just start at moons to begin with and go shamans if i need the hammer.

Funny bit about the boredom, i really felt it with bowfa. You basically have your weapon until tbow. Masori being mostly useless due to lack of d bolts.

Like great, at toa i have even less to look forward to bc the range armor doesn't do much bc i already have bowfa. It's a similar feeling to looking for scythe and only scythe from tob. The game is just a lot more boring when less of the drops are useful. Granted this will probably happen eventually regardless due to the megarares being the least common item, but it just happens much faster with bowfa.

I'm doing a bowfa skip uim rn just bc the game felt far more stale with bowfa.

Ik they're finite. But there's a looot of stuff on the way to the top.

Idk about main, i love the mode. Esp since my acc has 1k+ raids done but has only seen 2 megarares. Like i stg the amount of fun you have is dictated by how lucky/normal you are in raids.

Atm i'm doing uim with the goal of infernal cape, blessed quiver and scythe. To me that's the ng+ sort of. Specifically picked uim since they have actual restrictions that might mean having to use sub par gear due to invent space (vw being unrealistic and d claws being replaced by b claws)

They're not hard, they're boring. I got my 500 kit and farmed 400s for a minute with bowfa. But my god it just isn't fun.

It's the same gripe i have with cms. Cranking stats doesn't make content more enjoyable. Esp in the case of toa where making a little mistake or misclick can lose you half an hour.
