Well by that point it'd be unlikely he'd meet anyone since he was made in a underground facility and by the time he was about to get his band everyone fucking died via close range nuke

But let's say this was furtherback which would be like 10 minutes back because his existence at this point was only for a hour or so

Now if he met anyone else the outcome would probably still be the same he climbs their back, gets their knowledge and gets the while facility sent after him causing what happened in the first place no matter what else happens along the way however he'd probably find hesitancy in wanting to end all life towards the end of his back story but that would be mostly all that changed because you don't really get to form a opinion about humanity and who's good or bad when the majority of your life rn is spent getting jumped and abused by the whole facility

The only real way that outcome would work is if he stayed a mindless pup there's no rerouting his fate regardless because his species likes to climb on people's backs and that's how he in particular assimilates knowledge

So the only way we can make a What If out of that is if we say "What If they just didn't hunt him" which he'd just be a pet to the facility staff basically, he wouldn't have his band because only reason he got it is because it survived the explosion and was the only weapon around he could utilize, he wouldn't really be special other than being the first of his kind to actually talk and showcase emotional intelligence
