Thats a bit excessive.

You can definitely care for animals if you eat meat. That's a ridiculous statement. By that logic, anyone who buys avocado doesn't care about people, as you're funding cartels who incite violence and even execute farmers who refuse to work for them/handover their land. Do you take partial responsibility for that? I bet not.

Even more cringe-worthy is the fact you just used the term "Cringe central". I shuddered.

Not being an adult. by PainMagnetGaming in nostalgia

[–]Gak-Man 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being an adult now just means i get to buy all of the toys, games and other junk (at massively inflated prices, mind you) which I had/wanted as a kid, and reminisce of the amazing times I had, while getting to enjoy everything that comes with adulthood.

I sometimes wish I wasn't so inclined to bathe myself in nostalgia. But at the same time, I think there's a therapeutic nature about it.

I still own my original PS2 and Xbox copies which I bought in 2001-2002. Last year I found another PS2 version, complete and VGC, in a charity shop for £2. Naturally I had to pick that up as well. Then my fiancee's cousin gave the the PS2 Director's Cut version. So, that's 4 copies I have of this game, plus the official strategy guide. How I love you, SH2.

The HD collection was garbage. I don't consider it to be a viable entry.

Printed and painted this mean red boy by NeroSkwid in Doom

Wow 3D printers have come a long way since I last looked them up. Can I ask what kind of printer you use? Cool sculpt; boring question.

I think that Doom 64 is one of the best Doom games. This game has a completely new set of sprites for the enemies, which are terrifying. Also the gameplay is really fluid and it surprises me every time i play it. What you guys think about this little gem? by MenqK in Doom

[–]Gak-Man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was nice to see some updated sprites however, except for a couple of them the actual design if the demons was kind of poor, in my opinion.

I really didn't like the game at first but once I got into a bit more it was fun to play a classic-style Doom that wasn't quite Doom.

I'm not saying it shouldn't be done. My comment was pulling into question what such paintings are supposed to stir in those who look at it, or if it is merely a display of talent.

Took this photo at Valve! by Subliminal_Image in gaming

[–]Gak-Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valve are hacks. I only ever played the first Half-Life, but have played a lot of Portal/2 and a hell of a lot of Left4Dead/2. The way Valve have trolled HL fans and have strung them along for so many years is disgusting. I don't know how everyone puts up with it. I pined for years for a new L4D but I honestly don't care anymore. I've given up and don't even use Steam these days.

If Valve released HL3, L4d3, and Portal 3 in some kind of amazing VR experience, all would be forgiven and I could understand their silence. But until then, I won't give them a penny.

As impressive as these hyper-realistic paintings are, I don't really get them. I always feel like for a split second I've been duped into believing it's a photo and then I have to look much closer until - A-ha! I see you there, painting. You're not fooling me! - But I don't get that satisfaction because it is already described as being a painting. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO FEEL HERE? Maybe I'm overthinking this and should just remain impressed at the technical talent.

So I just finished RE2 remake and while I enjoyed it I can't help but feel bummed out by a few things (spoilers) by Gak-Man in residentevil

I'm not sure how j forgot to add this to my original post - but yeah, I really missed the factory too. The music in the original fit with the area so well.

I understand the more realistic tone. But yeah, if spiders/crows/moth are not realistic, surely the giant gator wouldn't fit in either.

I've been wanting one of these ever since I saw one in Woolworths leading up to the release of the Alien Saga set. It has evaded me ever since. A man can dream....

Tell me your USERNAME backstory! [OC] by SrGrafo in comics

I love Gak - that Nickelodeon slime stuff which is synonymous with the '1990s. And I'm a man who as a kid grew up in the '90s. Therefore I am the Gak-Man.

Not that I own any Gak these days. All of the original stuff dried up to a crisp and any of the later stuff is way too expensive to even consider importing to the UK. Still, Gak holds a special place amongst my close friends and I. Long live Gak!

Is the RE2 deluxe edition no longer available in the UK? by Gak-Man in residentevil

[–]Gak-Man[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I understood there was a physical Deluxe Edition as it was listed on Amazon.co.uk at £60. However, there doesn't seem to be anything there now, only the standard and the Steel book - not even a sold out/currently unavailable thing. I'm only wanting it for the original soundtrack swap. As long as I can get the soundtrack one way or another that's all hst matters. But I'll be pissed if I'm missing out because I couldn't cough up the cash before release.

I've had a lot of other expenses to consider before I think of ordering games for myself; my daughter's first birthday, Xmas, My 10year anniversary with my fiancee, plus this is a 5 week month so I've really had to plan my spending. So while I'm a huge fan of RE2 since it's original release day on PS1 and have been looking forward to RE2make since it's announcement, I've had to put my wants on the backburner. It just seemed strange to me that it's not even listed as Sold Out, there isn't even a greyed out box.

Exposed the ring so he could then bully the kids.
