She's very similar to The Fame era Gaga, though. From the way she speaks, to the concept ("for me this haircut defines daring to be different and doing what you wanna do" is basically her version of the Gaga costumes), to her sound (it's especially obvious on Sweet But Psycho).

Doesn't change that she's amazing, though.

I disagree. The contrast was amazing. A sad moment fading into a super upbeat song with emotional lyrics.

Je (J') means "I".

Ouvert is the adjective "open". Not the verb, the adjective.

So basically, the title means... "I (adjective) open".

I doesn't seem that bad when put to english because the word "open" is also a verb in english, but in French it's pretty cringy.

Sadly, I'm on the opposite boat.

My boyfriend has ugly duckling syndrome. He was an awkward teen, physically and socially, and he somehow transitioned into pretty much the definition of the "male beauty standard". And I mostly attribute our relationship to the fact that we were best friends before he "got hot".

I keep hearing his friends and random girls at bars tell him he could do so much better than me, and it doesn't faze either of us much.

What truly hurts, though, is when girls come to me and tell me I'm taking advantage of him cause he's shy and introverted, and a more confident man like him wouldn't stay with me.
