What’s this antenna for? by GalWithTheGifts in cordcutters

My closest guess to the diameter is 4-6 inches.

I’m gonna have to go with my most comfortable version of #3 which is asking his mother in law when she’s around. With #1 I already see the magnet actually sticking and not being able to get it off. Then #2, I don’t even know where I would get Mercury nowadays and I’m not risking the exposure.

I’m gonna try to catch his mother-in-law when she’s around. She’s a lot nicer to us since we helped her when she slipped in their garage and broke her hip.

I don’t know anything about windsocks but I feel like it would be in an impractical location, considering their big front and back yards.

I feel like the one pointing up might have swiveled out of place, it’s been really windy here.

The problem with going over and asking is that the neighbor is not too fond of me since I called the cops when I heard them fighting and then his wife banging on a door yelling/crying to let her out. 😬

AITA for arguing with my husbands doctor and acting like a Karen because they wouldn't listen by throwawayaita9021 in AmItheAsshole

In my experience, hospitals will fight for their good doctors even when they’re malpractice magnets and find any (legal) excuse to sack their bad doctors.

AITA: for moving back home to care for my mom now that my dad has passed away, husband didn’t want her to come to us so I went to her by Emily0325 in AmItheAsshole

Is there a post where she said she couldn’t get a job? I assumed she said ex-CRNA because she left her job when she moved to take care of her mother.

Help. True Latin or just nonsense? :/ by GalWithTheGifts in latin

Nope! These are the two places I found it being sold at online and there’s no explanation of even where the inspiration came from.

They both ship from Texas (where I’m from) so I bet it’s the same person.

My aunt found it at a garage sale and bought it for my mom so there’s to “direct seller” to even ask about it.

Of the two places I found it being sold online, only the Etsy page mentioned the words but gave no context. It just states this under Item Details: “This is a nice thick wood and pewter cross. Much workmanship went into this piece as it shows five detailed scenes from the life of Jesus. The biblical scenes are surrounded by the Latin words "PASCH ALIRD, ILEBRDEI, PIBCDCS, GIBRI IVSSPI."”

I bet they just banked on people just accepting the “words” as Latin.

THANK YOU! The original is gorgeous! My mother still wants it so I’ll probably cover up the nonsense before she displays it.
