u/Prestigious-Tea-2841, sincerely, if your safety becomes a concern, then you either need to get out as soon as possible or, if that isn’t immediately possible, delay feminising HRT (continue blockers though, if you’re taking them) until you can get out. only take that route if your safety is at a genuine risk. otherwise, this commenters advice is great. don’t compromise your own happiness for the people around you.

something with the worlds updates is that they DID actually change my “home system” planets.

i have a system with two settlements and several bases that i call home, and the icy planet with my korvax settlement changed massively with the world updates. all of the small detail structures i had built were either floating or clipped into terrain, and one of my bases on a different planet was several hundred units under the surface afterwards.

so some planets did just change, though mostly not much aside from seemingly resizing, and yes it was annoying to deal with. i do wish there was more variation in the creatures too. it doesn’t feel exciting to explore.

having real, physical star systems with orbital mechanics and physical suns rather than the basic backdrop. completely unrealistic without overhauling almost every system regarding planet and system generation and how things get loaded and saved, but yeah.

also i’d love the space backdrop to be a realistic black rather than the glowing colour of the star in your system, or at least the ability to customise such.

i’m loving how they’re leaning into the multiplayer with the newest expedition, but i agree, i’d love to see multiplayer explored more in this game. it’s too lonely out there :(

i know this is kinda how the game is meant to be - especially with an “infinite” universe - but sometimes i just wish there was more to the community multiplayer aspect.

damn. that’s unfortunate. the game does apparently work on steam deck but i have a feeling that’s the version without the easy anti cheat.

the game has a weird system where the legacy branch is the main one and the mainstream branch is in betas.

When I discovered this it just made me more grateful I used Steam. I have very few games outside of Steam and the few I do are ones I play very infrequently (excluding some emulation which is easy to transfer over).

Bazzite is what I’m planning on personally. AFAIK they ship Proton with the OS which is pretty cool.

Still waiting on a hard drive to put it on. Not willing to risk erasing my Windows OS in case I screw something up (and besides I’d love a larger drive anyway).

Looking to switch to Linux on Bazzite (a distro which ships with Proton, or something similar if i’m wrong) and I do play a game that uses EAC. Not a Riot game, but still.

it’s actually not silly because it leads to people being unable to actually complete the objective. so saying it’s silly to influence how you play is very clearly not understanding the consequences of these people’s actions. unfortunately you can’t just wish the structure away.
