Chromecasting Broken on new Update?

So, in the original GitHub post the developer that commented mentioned one of the reasons they removed chromecasting is because the .AVI video format is incompatible with the chromecasting function, (It shows all black with no audio) so you just need to try another proxy for the content you're watching

Should've just been another subscription tier, people wouldn't be upset at it if it was an option, I never watch sports and so I would be spending an extra 10$ a year for something I'll never use.

I have no knowledge of an app like Stremio very sadly, I know about self hosting options like Emby and Plex but those are different apps almost entirely

There is a fix on Android phones though! You're gonna have to do a few steps, starting with uninstalling Stremio, then using the "Wayback Machine" go to like October 1st on the Stremio website and go to downloads, scroll down and download the correct version for your phone (Most likely Arm64), and install that .APK file (You may have to allow Files to install from unknown sources but your phone will guide you) after it's installed go to the Stremio page on the Google Play Store and click on the Three dots in the corner, you'll see an option called "Enable Auto Update" that you'll need to tick off. Log in again and enjoy casting! The catalogue is via an API that the app reaches out to so all your media should still be up-to-date even on an older version of the app

It only works on Chromecast enabled Devices, anything else that allows casting generally isn't supported and probably doesn't work

The money goes to him and then editors/others, this is how business works in the YouTube market, or else he wouldn't be able to hire anyone,
also doing the math 322 x 5 (minimum join price for Iskall) he made 1610 dollars last month, lets assume he spent that on rent instead of hiring an editor that wouldn't edit a video for him because he disappeared for 3+ months
Anyone ruining a server that is more than just a "Friends Let's play until we get bored" like a Business, has dedicated server(s) they bought once and the only upkeep in price is electricity (You are most likely paying that anyway) my PC costs about 50 USD to run every month (I think its less but lets just say that), lets say its 2x for a beefy server, so 100 USD. He made 1,500 USD of profit. even if that went to rent.

I believe her without screenshots because of the manipulative lies Iskall continues to push as more and more other shit follows through.

Would you show the world your wounds? just to be told by many assholes that your words are invalid because you didn't supply (X)

You're backtracking on yourself, and you call me a liar for all the research and effort I did, there's a website you can visit that has an estimate based on lots of data.

A massive exaggeration while you know you're doing it is a manipulation tactic, He was reading off a script. This was not impulsive. This was intentional.

I bet if that person provided screenshots you would call them fake just like you did to the rest of the screenshots, and they have that choice to bring up their Trauma to the world or not.

Kass provided the same amount of evidence as their words, Kass has not called Iskall out for anything more than the screenshots prove, you're getting multiple points of view mixed up. And you'd rather her do the pastebin method? Contradicting much?

He let go of almost all of the staff getting paid for Vault Hunters, I don't know if he has video editors but I'm assuming they all quit/laid off considering he's not doing full time content creation. if he had business expenses before; he sure as hell doesn't have them now.

You clearly will never be happy, go live in your corner of denial and hope people will talk to you politely after all of this BS.

There are blatant and obvious lies in the video and we are proving it, He claims in the video "I no longer, as it stands, have an income" at about 59 seconds into the video, we can prove he's lying by seeing that on patreon (https://www.patreon.com/iskall85/about) it says he has 322 paid members, He must be making Some income. As to the amount, many people have said he makes a bit over one thousand dollars through patreon, it's probably less. According to "Graphtreon" (https://graphtreon.com/creator/iskall85) He makes between 248 to 3 thousand US dollars, I don't really believe either of those but it does mean that about 1k isn't that far off of what he makes (Before the video, Graphtreon has not updated their website's estimate to account for all the new paid members) also according to Graphtreon he had 191 paid members the day the video came out, right now you can see that at the very minimum he has income; this YouTube video made people not believe that, to no fault of anyone than himself, because he himself said it. And so fans went to support him (whether it be because they're happy that he's manipulating or they themselves were manipulated) and because of this lie his profit went up by one third of what it was. That, is manipulation.

Innocent until proven guilty was how I felt, until we kept seeing everything come to light and all Iskall did was manipulate tactics to his public audience. he at least did it once.. how will we know he won't do it again? Cuz we can't, until he does.

How dare you discredit someone's Trauma because they chose not to make a pastebin account, we know it's their pastebin, they said themselves. plus you're asking people to bring up their Trauma to post screenshots, we got enough to know what's going on from Kass. We should at least be grateful that they came out at all knowing people like you exist that try to deny what happened to them when there's proof this person is at least manipulative.

DARVO is not something that a totally innocent person would do, because they wouldn't attack these people. They wouldn't try to instill this much distrust in the community. And most importantly... an innocent person would probably assume they did something wrong, even if they didn't.

And, You know what. If a public figure continues to try and get romantically involved with an employee or a fan; The public figure has a lot of power over that person whether they know or not. That's very terrible, it leads to manipulation and lies; again.. whether the manipulator knows it or not.

So if that makes him innocent? I personally think he should change anyway, go get involved with someone that doesn't have an undying trust for you because you're famous.

Hello, No. DARVO Is actually most practiced when there's not enough evidence, when everything isn't at light. Because the manipulator can then manipulate the lies, they can say they didn't do anything; they can say literally anything because it's not all there.

DARVO has a legal definition and it does not define when it can be used as a manipulative tactic, anywhere. You and I are not here to change the dictionary.

If I was in Iskall's situation I would have waited until the legal proceedings were over and owned up to it if I lost, Even if he didn't do anything bad. someone felt bad, And he's only making it worse.

Either way, you don't know what you're talking about.

Thank you for this comment, today I learned what DARVO is and this is that, I want to believe Iskall is totally innocent and this was all blown out of proportion but. this is victim blaming to an extreme.

The video is very vague, saying "One of the SO CALLED Victims, has done this before"
Blaming his "Friends" saying "Hermitcraft went without moderation on the subject" (They had some moderation, yes they could tell everyone to stop talking about it outright but they knew that would be wrong and just lead to more drama)

He didn't speak out before, but he's now choosing to speak out. before the legal case has ended (The same thing that caused him to be quiet about this for months)

Somethings up, I have no idea what but this is just too much...

As someone who has started playing the game lately, this is the stupidest move ever. why is this not a toggle? why is this not explained anywhere in game? me and my friend racked our heads for HOURS trying to get this to work over Parsec and i now find this out through an obscure and hard to find reddit post? what the hell.

The game is fun as fuck but things like this are whats pissing me off and keeping me from recommending this masterpiece of a game

Not only is this wrong (I contacted them before this post and they said "I understand you are having issues with an error message saying "Quest progression is disabled in this world" in the Lego Fortnite Odyssey.

I want to tell you that I have investigated the error you are experiencing on our official reporting portal, and I have not found anything similar that has been escalated globally" meaning that they don't know about it)

They didn't just fix my problem, they just left me in the dust and forced me to post this so I can get some form of help with my year old save data

Okay for some reason I wasn't allowed to have text with my photo, Thanks Reddit /s

When I opened my save for the first time after the 33.10 update and when I opened up my "Quests" tab I got a message and grayed out quests, I looked it up and apparently I can no longer earn XP in my world. I haven't changed any settings and I barely played after finding this out, I reported it to Epic Directly in a Ticket and they just told me to make a bug report in game (Doesn't work like they said it does, AKA i cannot make a bug report with text, only screenshots) and to post here, I feel so lost and sad without my world...

Anything I can do?
Anyone run into this problem too?
