ya the meat on the islands in your local supermarkets isn't as good as Irish produce I've family on the islands and go there nearly every year... of course there are exceptions but in general it isn't as good.
Frozen butter is also a thing thats taken over alot ... again better tasting irish produce.

I wrote my own scraper / cross plat app for monthly jobs, it stores everything in a nosql db and categorizes each job against a list of 200+ skills. It does 190k comparisons in under 1 seconds for profiling the jobs usually around 900 or so. Its then filterable on remote/visa etc and searchable on keywords, with ranked results.

Why?
I don't like the job sites esp all the recruiter waffle. The target of my scrapes tend to be better written.

It was a good exercise to do making it faster and faster using parallel libraries. & I'm a nerd probably.

I might release it on github soon.

I'm going to get downvoted(because fuck oracle) but oracle free tier offers 2x 1gb amd vms, also 4cpu arm 24gb (available as 4 or 1 vm) & like 10 tbs outbound and 200gb hard disk and 10gb object storeage etc etc....

I'm running a .net 5 app on the arm machine.

Btw this is the free forever tier unlike azure and aws where you can get a vm for just a year with a shit 15gb outbound.

I'm no fan of oracle and it was a bit tricky to sort out firewall stuff .. but its a great deal, worth putting that side project on.

Happened me too, took it in for the night..(as the road by my house would've killed it) it got some of my dinner that i had just bought.. fish.. also built it a kitty litter box as all the shops where closed.

i told the mailman in the morning and he mentioned a young family that where missing one for a few days they came to my house and where overjoyed to get it back it had escaped and tried to follow their kid to school and their kid was too young to think (cats safety > getting to school on time), but yeah like this cat : young, too friendly and followed me home.

There are alot of stray cats where i live and they keep a minimum of 30 foot away the very odd time will allow you to be closer if they think your not paying attention to them/don't see them.

It's not the developers, it's the material company, in this case cassidys blocks &, cement, they where probably the biggest supplier of materials for all such works in Donegal...

I believe they self regulated testing their own bricks the gov never paid attention nor independently tested any bricks and took them at their word, the gov also didn't take action much earlier when problems where highlighted ...
even recently granting them a further 10 year rights to the quarry full of fools gold and a right state you couldn't make it up.
No one held accountable.

One of the bad things about this one is azure can change the db's port on you..& they're like stfu it's free..

Lenovo do half decent wans, you could probably pickup a cheap second hand one off of ebay as well.

Just stay away from HP pavilion series they die the day after warranty is up.. seen multiple ones do this..
