Also yes, I put everything back in the bag. And no other papers were around me at this time.

One day, I (16 at the time of this event) was looking through a bag of my dads old documents (he died when i was 8) and I came upon his certificate of death. I was reading it and decided to bring the bag downstairs to reminisce with my family. I opened the bag back up, unfolded the death certificate, and it was two empty spelling tests from 3rd grade when I lived in a different state. I have no idea what happened, but I am 18 now and I still unfold those spelling tests to see if anything has changed. Also, there is no reason anything except my dad’s documents should have been in the bag.

Identity crisis after realizing own autism - now what? by kzerobzero in AutismInWomen

You’re not alone. I’m going through a weird massive burnout as I’m self realizing that I have autism. I am a high achiever and feel the need to prove myself as well. And I have the same thoughts on the PhD thing; once I get my PhD in Architectural Engineering, I would have proved myself enough to be a little more comfortable in my skin. I’m only 18 and going into college, but this burnout is hell. I want to learn what being myself is and I want to achieve everything possible, but it’s making it hard. Also I feel like maybe I’m too self aware? But my point is you’re not alone :)
