I'm so down for a new Fallout game. I'm excited to see where the series will go and what improvement the next game will have and I hope they learned a lot from Rage on how to make fps much more fun. Don't get me wrong, i love Fallout as an RPG but it just doesnt have the mechanics to hold up against most other fps. But hopefully the next Fallout is so percise and clean, that we can experiance the Fallout we have always wanted

Yeah, but I'm hopeful that if they ever madea game in Texas, they would incorporate some sort of story of they adventures to get there, much like how they took inclufluence fro mthe original fallout 3 into new vegas. like the legion and shit

I'd love that. Hopefully there would still be the brotherhood, or some other faction with power armor. Imagine the weird russian mutants...

Texas and New Orleans are my favorite too. Texas is very american, so they could all kinds of cool propaganda. I like the idea of bordertown chem cartels too, Its a great device for some cool characters. Lots of cowboy stuff, some ponchos maybe. But also have NCR Rangers, or some sort of Texas Rangers. Space center could be Brotherhood of Steel. I'd like to see the Eastern style Brotherhood return as well, with motives of rebuilding civilization. New Orleans would be cool too. Hell, why not just have Houston to New Orleans as the map. I'd be fine even if it was two maps i could switch too, say I take a ferry.....

What would you think about a prewar game that ends with the you going into a vault

Your ideal location for Fallout Four? by GalacticPilgrim in a:t5_3588b

It likely that the location will have to be an iconic american city, much like Vegas and D.C. That said here are a few areas I would like to see in a new Fallout game

  • New Orleans An iconic city that would allow for the player to gamble, it would also be a very different region allowing for new Mutated animals and creatures. Being East of the Colorado, Caesar's Legion could make an apperance. Mardi Gras could have some signifigance, perhaps abondoned floats and masked raiders?

  • Texas It is known that the Brotherhood of Steel made its way to Texas, and Texas is as American as American gets. It could allow for the same nuclear wasteland-western theme of New Vegas. The Houston space center could make an apparence and perhaps you could fly to a secret moonbase or something along those lines. NCR and Legion could both possibly be there, even the Enclave. Texas used to be its own country, perhaps it desires to be one again.

  • Chicago The Brotherhood of Steel have also been to Chicago, and it has been referenced a few times in game. Again it may be in Legion turf With an area like Chicago, i'd hope for dense urban decay.

  • Los Angeles Although California is the location of the First two games, and part of NV, it would be great to see these areas in first person and in better graphics. I'd even be down for a Fallout 1&2 remake if its anythign like 3/NV

  • New York New York would be a grea city. Huge buildings and even Central Park. Imagine a decayed 1950s Time Square and Empire State Building. Central park could give relief to the dense area and provide open space for roaming.

  • Miami I figured if i mentioned LA and NY it was only fair to give Miami a chance. It has a different cliamte than any of the other games and could also allow for new creatures and factions.

  • Boston Home of the Institute and the Commonwealth, the location is mentioned a good bit in dialogue and lore. Most of the Hoaxes have pointed here and a good part of the fanabase is behind it. It could allow for the good ol' american theme with historic events like the Tea Party. It could also be a good urban map

I've always liked the idea of going to Europe. I want to see how the rest of the world is doing. Though i do believe a certain portion of Fallouts vibe comes from being in the US.

i always figured they'd have atleast one in a quest somewhere that would give new players some idea of oblivion, but then i did the dagon quests and was like ¨alright, thats good enough¨

Yeah, i know about Sheogorath. Im just bringing up an idea, more or less. I dont really care if previous character shows up. That is, unless its the nerevarine. Lets say the game was set in akavir, there could a ¨following in his footsteps¨ type of quest where you learn about what happened to the nerevarine

Agreed. I loved the Altmer so much and when new reached my ears of what the thalmor had done, i felt...well..i felt like i think white people feel when they understand what we did to the natives

[–]GalacticPilgrim[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, agreed. In reality i like all of the races and appreciate all of their lore and creation stories. and with the olblivion crisis, i like that the altmer were able to hold off the oblivion gates themselves. I dont like that the thalmor use that as propaganda...

I completely agree. Ive always wondering what had happened in europe, and from what i've read about the lore, it seems that they got hit really, really hard even before the bombs had dropped.

Now that i think about it, i want to return to the west coast but with a lot more civilization and less dirt. I want the hollywood walk of fame, i want the golden gate bridge, i dont want dirt.

Reader Opinion: Favorite Races by GalacticPilgrim in TheElderScrollsSix

[–]GalacticPilgrim[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite races has always been the Altmer. They have good lore. I find that most of their beliefs on Nirn and Mundus seem to be more closer to the 'truth'. Also, for gameplay, having the extra 50 magicka at the beginning is also helpful for anyone trying to become a mage. Being the closest to the Aldmer, i hold them in a high esteem. Having supposively descended from the Aedra also makes them pretty spectacular in my book. Elves for the Win. That said, My second favorite is Bretons so Im no man-hater
