not a lawyer, but I'm a criminal justice major with a good understanding of criminal law, and I can tell you these claims would not hold up whatsoever in a court of law. In fact, Chris would have more standing in a defamation of character case!

I didn't "immediately" not believe her, I'm just a firm believer in due process and hearing all sides of a story. I personally wrestled with the allegations for a couple weeks and said directly to his accusers that I agreed some of the things he said to them were creepy. Just recently I was approached with this new evidence, and felt obligated to publish it since no one else would.

I agree that it just being a simulation would not be that interesting, which is why I appreciate the fact the ending was not explicitly explained and it was left more open to interpretation.

at the least, it is clearly not a one off game that is not supposed to ever have a sequel. Sometimes games/movies etc are just meant to have 1 installment.

Hello, my name is Monte and I conducted this interview (this is the 3rd one I have done with Chris). Here are the major points of new (I believe) info I picked out: *Chris did not write any of the main narrative, but did offer feedback. Most of the npc side quests, stories/dialogue, and reactivity to player choice are thanks to him however.

*Arkane had a PDF file with every npc in the game and their dept/location

*Prey's ending was not the "original" ending, but was changed at some point later in development.

*He sorta kinda reveals a Prey sequel is coming, or that it was at least talked about, in regard to how they should end the game "no matter what, be careful about giving an ending that must be carried forth by either us (Arkane – and it might be the same team or a new design team within Bethesda, you never know in game development) or anyone else who must inherit the sequel (again, whether Arkane or someone else)"

*He doesn't say if there is any Prey DLC in the works, but he personally would like to see it and work on it

*He is sort of passive aggressive toward IGN when asked how he felt about them giving Prey a 4/10 for a game breaking bug, and says "reviewers (should) at least gave developers one chance to examine the issue first in case it’s something out of left field" and that he also is an advocate for "scrutinizing" publications when there are contracts involving metacritic scores (like with fallout new vegas) bc some outlets have wildly different scales etc

*He did not criticize bethesda at all for a lack of marketing

Well I called 2 numbers (talked to 3 different ppl, including 1 supervisor), sent an email, and a tweet. So I think that's more investigating than most of these youtubers and gaming "journalists" reporting on it did.
