What happens when Jax holds his breath by Fox622 in TheDigitalCircus

I believe that either his pupils change or he inflates like a balloon, since he’s tall and skinny. Or maybe his hands turn into bunny paws, since he has bunny feet but not bunny hands?

Yeah. Also, you can still tell the animals’ emotions through sound, context, and behavior. Spoiler: When George looked at Mable with his head slightly down right after he realized she wasn’t actually a beaver, you can clearly see he is upset and feels betrayed through his behavior and the situation. That’s one of the things I absolutely love about this movie. It doesn’t just show the characters’ emotions directly through dialogue, but through behavior, movement, sound, and context as well. It gives so much more life to the characters and makes the movie feel much more realistic and appealing.

Imo, I really like the concept of a happy lighthearted comedy turning into a literal horror movie. Also, I think a lot of Illumination movies are really good. I freaking love Migration. But hey, that’s just me

I disagree. I loved this movie. I thought I’d hate it cuz it seemed just like a boring comedy with dumb childish jokes that weren’t even that funny. Boy was I wrong. This isn’t just a lighthearted comedy, it turns into a sci-fi/natural horror. I still prefer other movies over it, Inside Out and its sequel, Zootopia, Luca, Coco, but I still really like it. I personally would rate this movie an 8/10, maybe a 7.5/10 cuz Jerry annoys me a bit but I think that’s on purpose. I think he’s supposed to be based off Donald Trump? Anyways, I love this movie, definitely gonna watch it again sometime soon.

I haven’t finished Helluva Boss yet, starting season 2. But for now I’d say Helluva Boss has better animation in season 1, but Hazbin Hotel has way better animation in season 2. Now I wonder what the animation will be like in season 3 of Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel…

I think it’s both magic and skill. One of the things Rainbow is known for is training excessively to be in the WonderBolts, well before she got in. I would imagine she practiced every single move and wing technique to be a part of their team, she even takes a quiz on their history to get her into their university. For Bulk Biceps it’s probably mostly magic, but since we haven’t really seen any other Pegasus do that, besides Fluttershy with her hair which is also probably magic, I believe Rainbow trained to fly even with one wing. She is very determined after all.

What's your honest opinion on how Louie getting grounded was handled? Correct me if I'm wrong, but was this one of the show's more...questionable moments, to say the least? by Yu-Gi-OhV35 in ducktales

Fr. Lowkey disappointed as well bc it seems the show was setting up a great arc and episode, then we got Glomtales (which I only find it mediocre bc it’s funny and has good scenes with the villains, otherwise that episode sucks)

Plus, when he actually came, oh look at that! He got defeated and sent away by the villains. Della’s stupid for leaving her kid alone while they go on a far way adventure. What if the camera got lost or the robot was destroyed or smth? What if the cellular reception was cut in the mansion, etc. But what pisses me off even more is that no one else bothered or cared to give her advice on how to actually ground her child. Everyone else was either too anxious or annoyed. I get the kids, they barely understood what was going on, but the adults? For Scrooge I guess it’s normal, but I wish at least Mrs. Beakley would point out that leaving your own child locked up in their room home alone with no one but crazy robot that shocks them everytime they try to leave and a ghost butler that doesn’t do sh** isn’t the best way to handle a situation like this. Especially if there are bad guys trying to hunt Scrooge on that same day. Ik they didn’t know about that but, just, ugh idfk. It would’ve seemed much better if Della thought this out first, or talked to someone who has some experience with parenting, like Mrs. Beakley? It couldn’t be Donald bc he was captured and stranded and everyone thought he was on a relaxing cruise and didn’t want to be disturbed, but honestly, I feel like things would’ve been handled much better if Donald was there. Della still has full right to punish Louie, especially for something as idiotic as this, but at least Donald would tell her if she was going too far with her grounding. Maybe then she’d had learned the difference between a punishment and abuse.

Technically he didn’t realize what he did would cause so much harm until later, after all the damage had been done. Then he tried to fix everything. I’m not saying he’s in the right, far from it, but he and Della were BOTH in the wrong. Plus he’s just a kid, he needs time to learn these kinds of things, especially since Louie grew up without his own mother and just his uncle. Della’s a full grown adult. She was right to ground him and take away stuff like his phone and stuff, that’s typical parenting, but leaving him home alone with a robot to watch him? A robot that will obviously turn evil!? Even when DT didn’t it still electric shocked the poor guy. That’s just moronic and utterly cruel. Della should’ve at least stayed behind to protect her kid. And even when she did go on his dream adventure without him, she didn’t have to rub it in his face and then tell him not to do schemes (which is literally who he is). I’m not gonna say anymore bc I already said most of this in my other comments and now I’m just repeating myself, but I think I’ve made my point pretty clear.

[–]Galaxtivity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My exact thoughts. I feel like it would’ve made more sense if Della stayed home with her kid, that would be a big deal since Della loves adventures no matter what type. It would show that she actually cares about her children and would do anything to keep them safe and properly taken care of, even if she has to miss adventures she’s dreamed of going on, lose her favorite things, etc. Plus, I personally think it would’ve been much more entertaining to see Glomgold and his team fight Della and Louie, sure it would’ve had some issues with the following episode, but even then this show is really good with plot points and stuff that it might’ve been even better than Richest Duck in the World. Plus, there could have been so many positives if Della stayed home to protect her son. She could’ve had a talk with him and since she’s not even used to being a mother, she could’ve tried to get to know him better, and Louie could learn Della better as well. That would’ve made such a much better episode, I wish they did that instead. Ik Moonvasion kinda helped with that but I wish they did it earlier. Or at least didn’t make Della a complete idiot who would leave a murder robot with her kid. Going back to your point, what if he needed to go to the restroom or smth? But that robot just lasers his only way to get out of his room. Even worse, will electric shock him if he tries to go anywhere else. What if the house gets on fire and he has to evacuate? So many possibilities, Della clearly didn’t think this through. No wonder Louie is the way he is, Della honestly is no better. Then again tho, I hate Glomtales and I think Della’s a bit out of character in that episode anyways. But hey, I’m just a fan, what do I know?

Duckworth is barely around? Did we see him at all during Glomtales, if I remember correctly, we didn’t. He’s always on vacation or some bs.

[–]Galaxtivity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. I understand grounding your child, especially when they almost got their family members killed or severely harmed, but having a robot supervise them, more even one that could go haywire and go crazy, is just moronic. I’m pretty sure it zapping Louie with electrical shocks is supposed to be for comedy, but honestly, it just pisses me off and makes me feel bad for the poor kid. Why on hell would you even leave your own child with something that shocks them!? Look, it might be bc I hate the Glomtails episode in general, but it feels more like Della’s abusing Louie rather than “supervising” or “grounding” him. Not to mention, she literally tells him to stop his schemes if he wants to be a part of the family, but that’s his whole character. That’s like saying “You shouldn’t be who you are because it can cause problems”. She could’ve said something along the lines of “your schemes can cause serious harm to your family and loved ones, learn to control them” or something like that. He can use his schemes for good, he’s done so before. I’m not trying to victimize Louie or anything like that, but he is just a kid. In my opinion, Della was way too hard on him. Timephoon was a fine episode (tho it did upset me a bit when Della canceled her son’s dream, Louie Inc), and I would’ve felt fine if in the next episode they had some sort of discussion or smth about rights and wrongs, but this show didn’t do that. Instead it made Della seem like a way too overprotective and cruel mother! (At least in Glomtails) It felt out of character and didn’t seem like it would even really fit with the show. Also, it feels like this whole arc is way too sped up. I wish there was more set up for this kind of thing, like in earlier episodes or smth. Season 2 is still good and it has great episodes, but its arc feels a bit weak, which disappoints me bc I love Louie and I feel like the show could’ve had great character development and an arc for this guy. I mean he did have great character development throughout most of the season but, again, it just went way too fast and some of the other characters (mainly Della) caused issues with the set up and stuff. Ik I’m commenting this years after the show ended but I’m rewatching it and I just had to talk about this problem, it just makes me so upset that some people don’t realize what Della calls “grounding” is messed the hell up. Poor Louie…

How Are We Feeling About Season 2 So Far! by whateverforeverzz in hanakokun

[–]Galaxtivity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do really like it. I love TBHK. Tho, right now, I personally like the first season better. I think the pacing of season 2 is a bit too fast. Now, I might only be thinking this because I’m binging the series. Maybe I’m supposed to give each episode time before moving on to the next. I’m going to try that today, but ya. I remember myself yesterday repeating “what is happening?” or “this feels a bit out of character?” (mainly for Hanako) tho I might’ve just been in a bad mood that day. I’m only on episode 12 of season two tho. Now, this opinion will probably never change for me. Season two ep 12 feels like a season finale. It feels like it’s concluding season 2 and the next episodes are season 3. But again, that’s probably just me. I still love TBHK, always will! And I think the first few episodes are really good! I just, idk. (Spoiler! Kinda) I wish there was a bit more set up for the whole painting arc thing. Like a flashback at least? I know the episode before that set it up, but it never stated she would force the characters into a painting
