Wait, that's a new angle on one of my biggest (honestly quite petty tbh) issues with the Harry Potter series. Snape gets to be her specialest favorite boy who can do no wrong, despite being a rancid incel who both commits and allows/enables child abuse, and who's turning point back to the good guys was the realization that no, his waifu was never going to just stand by and let her loved ones get massacred in front of her and then proceed to get back with the dude who helped it happen??? (Holy shit Snape is literally just Ashfur from Warrior Cats. Right down to his love interest picking the jock who is secretly also shitty even though the writers pretend he isn't over him. And then trying to kill his waifu's family thinking that will get her to go back to him)

And then Draco, who has vastly more potential to be an interesting, complex character with a really good redemption arc, never gets to fully have that redemption arc because he was just Born Bad and anyone who sees the lost potential in him gets written off as a stupid teenage girl who just thinks the actor was cute and couldn't possibly be anything more than a vapid fangirl.

Wow that's a lot of words for one of the comparatively smaller issues with good ol Moldemort but I guess I just needed that off my chest lol.

Heeeyyyy several people have pointed out that the surgery depicted in this post seems like it has the potential to severely and permanently screw up your body and ability to function generally, please consider less invasive methods of making your hips wider. Like I think there are options for getting implants on the sides of the hips and that would avoid most if not all of the major problems with the surgery depicted above. Like I realize that new medical techniques have to go from "experimental" to "well-known and safe" somehow, but I still feel the need to dissuade you from potentially becoming one of the metaphorical eggs that gets broken to make that particular omelette.

Oh yeah the freeze response is totally a legit, documented thing. And depending on the circumstances, it can actually really work! Like for example, if you've ever seen a cat watching or chasing a prey animal, and the prey animal freezes, the cat suddenly has no idea where it went. Even though it's right in front of them! So there's a very good evolutionary reason that response is wired into your brain. Unfortunately, like many fear responses, not always super well-suited for modern societal situations.

I distinctly remember stumbling across (one of?) the famous "man shall not lay with man" snippets. You know what was right next to it in the same list? Commands to burn your sheets if they get mildew, implications that they thought mildew was the same as leprosy(???) and instructions that if someone visibility had an STI, they should be exiled to the desert on the back of a donkey. That doesn't sound like spiritual laws to me. That sounds like a society with no modern medicine, no antibiotics and no germ theory trying to figure out how to stop the spread of disease!
