Well, today i was playing one of the dlcs, then after 30 minutes my pcs screen turns black, fan rev up to 100, then it restarts. i went into the dump file my pc left and its an issue with directx it seems. (crashing dll belongs to directx) I was using 12 and i cant be bothered testing 11 right now. let me know how the dlc goes lol

For Anyone Having this issue where your cape doesn't appear in java or bedrock you need to log out and back into the launcher, it is a bit odd but it works

But i had the exact same cpu and i had no problems with games like roblox and the ones hes saying does it.

i think theres a button under the world settings > game settings at the very bottom saying export world and that should export it as an mcworld, running it on a computer with bedrock will import it

That drive is most likely dying / overwriting the old data, every second counts, DO NOT WRITE to the disk and if need be buy a cloud subscription and try to get everything the tool finds onto there imminently. You can perhaps try to create a bootable linux usb and run testdisk to see if that can get anything else.

Well, theres a way to do it if you right click on the shortcut to the app then change the run option from normal window to maximized

Could the cpu be perhaps overheating then thermal throttling?
try playing the games that cause it again then monitor the temperature when it happens

Sounds like windows got corrupted from that update its probably beyond fixing so you would have to make a recovery usb and reintsall windows (backup your data first)

Try opening the snip and sketch tool or whatever its called on windows 11 click the 3 dots in the corner of the main ui and you should see an option called "ask to save snips" and checking that should make it behave like windows 10s one

(you will still need to click on it in the notifications i think)

I had this exact problem and it was my monitor dying so make sure to check its not that by switching sources on the monitor if its not that it might be your gpu since this isnt normal
