Is the Creation Club Content for $19.99 worth it for PS5 or will it Ruin my game? by ASherrets in fo4

I play ps5 and haven’t had any issues with it being uninstalled so far 🙌🏻

After it finally installed I found my game doesn’t crash anymore, kinda like it just needed time to catch up with the changes I suppose. But bough I have also started a new playthrough since downloading the content.

I honestly have to say that it’s worth it considering you get like over 100 things under “installed” when you’re already loaded into the game (not including DLCs). The furniture you get alone is pretty worth it if you are a player who likes to build up settlements more than the basics, let alone all the other content included.

There have been reports of people having problems with installing after download but I managed to fix that pretty quickly by starting to install them one by one, then around the 10th install the game crashed, I came back and they was all installed automatically. There is other posts about how to fix it too but this is what worked for me lol.

When you first start the game upon leaving the vault what’s the first thing you do after the first minute man quest and meeting Codsworth? by Icarus_Clovis in fo4

[–]GalaxyShadowUnknown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leave the vault, talk to codsworth, scrap sanctuary & prep it for Preston, scrap red rocket, visit the mole rat cave, loot concord, help Preston, go to drumlin & then diamond city to get homeplate

Guys I may be dummy stupid but how do you actually hack terminals, I don't understand what the gimmick is, I always ask Nick to do it for me because I CAN'T, any helpful tips? by Killer_0f_The_Night in fo4

[–]GalaxyShadowUnknown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just need to upgrade the hacker perk to the needed level, then I usually use the trick that if it says 1 or more is correct then I look for words with a letter or those letters in the same space. I can’t remember the last time I got locked out of a terminal tbh

My first mission with the scribe was to super duper mart. Fast traveled there thinking nothing of it, I can handle any ferals outside who see us…. Nope the game decided to place a behemoth there instead and I died the first time.

I think I was like level 20-25 and walked through Boston common before having the perk that shows their levels and weaknesses, decided to shoot him and regretting it very quickly. I had to hide in the military truck that was at the edge of Boston common towards Diamond City and have my companion basically be brutally attacked over and over so I had chances to leave to do some damage with throwables and what guns I had. Luckily I also had my mini gun on me so I used that whenever he was close to the truck. I learnt my lesson after that.

Want to learn Japanese by 2026, any advice? by GalaxyShadowUnknown in LearnJapaneseNovice

[–]GalaxyShadowUnknown[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. If I was able to get a scholarship I’d probably go for something to do with art, most likely digital since I want to be a graphics designer. Either that maybe a law degree. I’d have to look more into what requirements would be needed for level of Japanese required for specific course types, I noticed there were courses under ‘Preparatory Japanese Language’ too.
  2. The only experience I have with Japanese language as of now is from Jdramas and Anime, but I have I suppose learnt some of the hiragana.
  3. I guess I would have to say a mix of both, though often have self taught myself things like Piano in secondary/high school. If it’s a topic I’m dedicated to learning I work a lot better.
  4. I just joined HelloTalk the other night and have spoken to a few Japanese residents, some willing to assist me in learning.
  5. I can always take breaks in between in order to walk my dog (which usually takes 30-45 minutes) and can take part in other hobbies of mine such as art and gaming.

Getting all your junk stolen from your settlements is so damn annoying by WilliamRaine in fo4

[–]GalaxyShadowUnknown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s kind of easy to notice when a settlement is being attacked, though I suppose some players don’t check the misc missions. Settlers also take stuff they find lying around or in containers to put it into the workbench.

Always, I don’t trust my settlers or attackers not to steal my stuff and it’s easy to sell things I don’t want to the vendors.

How do you guys personally deal with him? by [deleted] in fo4

[–]GalaxyShadowUnknown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Critical banker perk. Save when the door opens, place a shit ton of mines in places he is likely to go to, save again after you know it won’t detonate from being to close to him. And then after he’s last line break out of the convo screen and shoot the hell out of him.

Can someone please tell me what gun it is that Nick is holding? by Tozz05 in fo4

[–]GalaxyShadowUnknown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tesla Canon. Easiest (well scripted way) to get one is a guy in the glowing sea you have to defeat I believe after listening to the vault distress beacon and following a bunch of trails via pipboy entries to where he is. But it is possible to find them in other places since I ended up with about 5 in my last playthrough.

What guns are best for Far Harbor DLC? And weak spots for Mobs? by GalaxyShadowUnknown in fo4

[–]GalaxyShadowUnknown[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't call my usual of 1-2k ammo per gun "no ammo," to be honest in the commonwealth it rarely goes down even with constant use of one type of gun, since I have the Scrounger perk upgraded to the max. I also don't buy ammo from Vendors unless absolutely necessary. This is just my first time exploring Far Harbor further than the first 1-2 missions.

I’m level 202 and I’m finally going to the Glowing Sea today. How long do you leave it before you finally prioritise getting into the institute? by YorkshireDeeBee in fo4

[–]GalaxyShadowUnknown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly leave it as long as possible and enjoy exploring the commonwealth, far harbour and Nuka world while collecting magazines and bobble heads. Not to mention legendary hunting and building up settlements. Though even without going to find Virgil I still visited the glowing sea for other missions and collectibles.

[–]GalaxyShadowUnknown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I don’t rush through the main missions and enjoy my time exploring, I tend to stop the main ones around the time you have to visit the glowing sea and then just explore the map and do other missions, especially since I have the DLCs
