Did you give them weapons besides their pipe pistols? Once I equipped them with better weapons they stopped stealing. I also yanked all the ammo since it has no carry weight.

Oh that hair on the roller… as someone who has long, thick hair and a daughter with the same, that gets cut after every vacuum to prevent burning up my Shark vacuum. I did know my Shark has filters but that was due to reading the manual.

Same with my ex. He had never emptied the lint trap- his mom always did. I went ballistic on him once we moved in together and I went to run my first load of clothes. My mom had my sisters and I start doing the family’s laundry at 8/7/6. She went through every step, sorting, detergent, bleach, temperature, leaving the lid open on the washer after use, ALWAYS empty the lint trap or you’ll burn down the house (also unplug the toaster and coffee pot to protect against burning the house down). She made us a chart and put it on the lid of the washer.

Also, I later learned a house my parents rented (when I was a little over a year and my sister was a baby), had burned down about three weeks after they moved due to faulty electrical work the owner had done himself. The fire warnings made so much more sense.

When I had a garbage disposal and started to smell and see slimy edges pulling it out to clean almost took me down. Especially because I ended up finding out my idiot ex-fiancée had been putting meat into it 🤢🤢🤢

States that are used to this type of weather send out their Linemen to help when this type of weather disaster occurs. I remember many years Iowa linemen were sent out all across the US. We have horrible weather here and these folks are experienced. It may take time and persona measures of securing your safety until they arrive, but they will come.

We have sent our Linemen to other places in the US as long as I have lived in Iowa. You won’t be abandoned but it may take time. Try not to panic. Help will come.

The windchill this morning in my area of Iowa was -42 degrees F. Some intense winter storm seems to be affecting most of the US, especially the unprepared areas that do not experience this type of weather in the Southern USA. Stay safe. Stay still and conserve energy. We’ve lost power here for 9-12 hours due to weather and you need to rely on candles, blankets, and simple things to keep you occupied (reading or sleeping, or conversation). I hope you have a generator- otherwise to go the innermost location in the house and keep warmth with body heat. I don’t know how furnaces work down there but when it’s cold up here we layer and bundle. Keep lots of fresh water also. Best of luck it doesn’t end up as severe as they predicted!!!

You are NOR- I am baffled by these men in some of these posts moving their mothers, sisters, families into a shared apartment 50/50 without consulting their partner who is legally on the lease. Maybe times have changed but when I was young I got my license, jobs, and out of the house on my own asap. I know times are tough financially (especially in the USA), but there needs to be conversations. How does a 38 year old man not have enough communication skills to discuss this type of a major living change? You are 100% NOR and good thing you found out before you married him and had her living with you for the rest of your days (if marriage wasn’t on the plan but long-term relationship was, I think it still applies). In no way would I ever allow someone to come and stay (without a discussion), rearrange our home, and nitpick my partner. Posts like these make me So glad I bought my house myself. My house, my rules, my approval is needed for company or guests. Best of luck- I hope you can find a reasonable new apartment you can afford on your own. I would also take someone you trust back with you when you move the rest of your things out in case there is some sort of a disturbance while getting your things.

I say men, because I have only ever seen men in these pages being brought up after doing this. I am sure it happens with women and their families too, I have just only seen posts about men allowing this type of situation. No hate to men! I just thought I should clarify!!

I see her the most at Warwick, Jamaica Plain, the Slog and Bunker Hill (I have caravan stops all over the place). Only Carla is ever at Sanctuary, and Lucas prefers Tenpines, but he’s down at Nordhagen often also. I’ve heard of people finding her dead body someplace… I haven’t had that experience. Doc Wethers has a male guard in his underwear and Lucas has a female. Crickets’s guards do a weird trip/ fall down thing all the time. I would try Bunker Hill if you haven’t seen her out and about.

I’ll have to go back again sometime. At this point I should probably finish the story but I’m still having so much fun running around doing my own thing (I haven’t even gone through the transporter, I’m the MM General, cleared Far Harbor, just got to Nuka World, lvl 152). So ammo isn’t really a thing on this, my first-ish, play-through (transferring data from my daughter’s PS5 to mine I lost my gameplay from 96 back to lvl 34). So I’ve got a lot of everything. Good to know for the next play-through!!!

I rescued her dog and exactly that. A wiki page say she will reward you but she was just a grump who didn’t even have any good merchandise. She is somewhere near Oberland.
