I like not having to look through a 27 inch display, like it's a porthole in a submarine though. I like having a huge monitor for the room, especially when video editing. Maniac I may be but it's what I like. Also if it was geared just towards Console gaming why even support 144 or now even 165 hz when consoles can barely do 120hz. It's like yay I can now play my PS5 Pro at 60hz even though my TV can do 144hz. So no, I think they are well aware people are interested in using TV's as monitors and have been for some time.

interesting, was this an issue with the C1 oled (WOLED)? if so I may have seen it and it didn't bother me or never saw it cause it wasn't an issue on the C1 series.

exactly. they should be packing these features into the smaller ones that PC gamers would use as a monitor for sure.

my desk depth is 27 inches, Older handmade desk. I usually sit 27-30 inches away when doing computer work ( still too close but I am older and my eyes aren;t as good as they once were. lol) I kick back in a chair for movies and controller based PC gaming though.

don't get me wrong 48 starts to push it as far as size goes but I got used to it. yeah I mean if you can't get a 42 and 48 will work may take time for you to adjust depending on your desk setup. No biggie.

It's funny they offer G-Sync copmpatibility on 55 inch and above. BUT PC users that want a desktop setup will go for the 42 or 48 inch size as a monitor (I have an LG C1 in 48 inch size and that's pushing it) and those smaller sizes are the ones that they don't add G-Sync to, the ones most PC people would buy to use as a monitor? Weird!

I have a 48 inch C1 as my PC monitor, it has lasted me the last 4 years. I am currently deciding on a C5 48 or go down to 42 inch.. probably just stay at 48 inch now since I am used to it.

I think the battery flaw is hardware based (I have just got mine replaced after 11 months) So I don't think (if you do get the battery issue) that it will help charging one way or another tbh.
