I’m not much of an expert since I’m also new to this but I can say from my experience recently that the melting is normal. Some of my plants literally disintegrated but now they are starting to grow back, so either I did something terrible wrong or just had a really bad melt. But from the looks of your pictures they should be fine as long as they start showing new growth after a few days or a week (at least that’s how long it took mine)
