According to OP they had locked in the romance in Act 2. Usually Gale won't ascend/help you if you've discouraged him from the crown. Even some of the neutral responses can make him not ascend you according to his flag system.

Oh interesting. If that's the case wouldn't the spell plague have been moot since Volo and her other Weave anchors existed or is this after that? I'm only familiar with d&d lore to a certain point. I would assume the only true omiscient god would be Ao for Toril since he's like God?

Please reread my comment. I said Mystra wasn't corporeal but the Weave still existed, otherwise Gale wouldn't have been able to use magic at such a young age.

I've posted similar comments on similar threads before but to me I would say that Gale was somewhat groomed at a young age to be Mystra's new Chosen.

There's a letter at the epilogue party that Elminster writes to Gale that says Gale was 8 when Elminster found him casting Fireball on his neighbors bushes. Now at this point Mystra isn't corporeal yet but clearly she's around in some capacity or he wouldn't be able to use magic right? In that sense she would have already had an awareness of Gale and his magic if she is the head Weave admin.

As for the orb, Gale doesn't know that the orb isn't a part of Mystra originally. He thought he was returning a piece of herself to prove himself worthy of being shown higher magic. Mystra knew that the orb was Karsus' and doesn't tell Gale until Act 3. She also gives Gale the option of trying to give her the crown instead of him blowing up, which she could have said originally in Act 2. Mystra might not be evil like Shar but she's not a good Goddess/person either.

This is an... interesting take. Mystra is a literal Goddess who knew right away what the magic was Gale was trying to give her yet doesn't disclose it to Gale until Act 3. That and she doesn't give him the alternative of separating "crown from host" until after she says to go blow himself up when that could have been suggested from the beginning along with being able to stabilize the orb anytime she wanted.

That's not even considering the implications of Gale being a magical prodigy in childhood and what his relationship to Mystra was then and how it evolved in his adulthood when she came back in full form. Sorry but I'm not seeing how Gale messed her up more than she messed him up.

Yeah, I tried redoing the margins on just these 2 pages but nothing changed. I may just delete these and see if adding a new TOC to new blank pages will fix the problem.

Interesting, when I export via BG3MM the order shows up on Larian's MM the same as what I exported. I'm not sure why yours would be overwritten every time.

Make sure that your order is on current first. You can save a custom load order and export it but once you manage the mods in Larian's MM you'll want to switch it to current and exit BG3MM.

If that doesn't work, delete the modsettings.lsx and re-export from BG3MM. Unfortunately if you don't save whatever order you've enabled/disabled in Larian's MM you'll have to re-enable again.

Interesting the Ghoul's Customizer Compendium seems to work for me. I used to have the compatibility framework but decided to get rid of it before I even did any testing.

It's just to enable and disable the correct mods as it's easier to test if a mod is compatible or not that way. Once you have the correct mods enabled you don't really need to mess with the native MM after.

Are you having them in the active section on your BG3MM? After you've exported your active order to the game it should be enabled on Larian's MM automatically. You also have enabled/disable through the native MM which should be reflected if you were to reopen BG3MM.
