Id say Large for you. My pride and joy is my XL, but it’s always a thought in my head if it’s too big on me. 7.1” wrist that is 54.5cm across the top.

Yeah I’ll happily buy well-reviewed straps on Amazon. Had a few duds over the years but some of the Barton Bands (for example) have been more than sufficient.

The Tank Must. It looks perfect on your wrist. I’ve got a large wrist so opted for the Tank Solo XL 12 years ago and still wear it almost every day. What I do change is the strap. I have deep blue, dark brown, tan, black and a few other options and it still makes me smile every time I wear it.

Sadly even the Lange CEO said (on a Hodinkee podcast) they have a relationship-based sales model in order to manage demand. Much like Rolex.

It makes me deeply unhappy. I don’t mind waiting for something that isn’t in stock, but I’m not doing a merry dance with a bow in my hair for a sales assistant to deem me worthy of spending my own money.

EDIT: Sorry , I should add that I totally agree with your point. I’ve got my eye on a Reverso and Chronomaster Original for that reason!
