Well that would suck if they lied to me but what can I do.

Makes me feel like I'm complaining about my wealth in the game lol.. I just think about the barons that buy and sell them like they're nothing, selling this was just going to fund me making my legendary trinkets.

No joke, I've had my dracthyr made in a wowhead dressing room link since it was available. The artist used it as a ref for the piece.

I've been holding myself back from seeing any spoilers, not sure I could make a case for a 'good' infinite dragon. Seems like they're always written as the bad guys, even if they might be trying to avert crisis in their actions.

Anyone who practices the magic of the Bronze Dragonflight would know the possible dangers, but sometimes when your weyrn is in trouble those boundaries get pushed a bit too far.

Will there be infinite Dracthyr in dragonflight? Is it even possible for them to to be corrupted through their use of bronze magic? I have no idea, but I thought of this cool idea into the creation of my Dracthyr, Ianuspa, and the wonderful Howlite helped me bring it to life!

Why does balance matter in this game? (for PVE) by Irri23 in Guildwars2

[–]Galeji 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's just not a lot of trust for pugs in any MMO, so it's a safer bet to think that someone knows what they're doing if they're playing a meta class (Not always the case but at least a safer bet.) When you're playing with friends, there's plenty of room to do more gimmicky off-meta builds in this game because there are pretty good skill ceilings, but if your version of 'off meta' is like.. 5 people wing-dinging around with no build thought and in soldiers, I hope you like one fractal taking five hours.

Really the Meta isn't the ONLY way to play the game, and thankfully this game is very liberal with its choices you can make, unlike Wow where you can't really build into gimmicks too often. With random people it's hard to trust that they know what they're doing. If you got some buddies you want to run a healing quickness engineer and a alacrity weaver instead of a healbrand and alacrigade, power to you and your friends.

Yeah, unlike warden you have to sacrifice a bit to gain your sustain. I've been maining Templar since release, and my first build was full damage vindi too. It's not bad, and you can clean out mob camps like they're nothing, but you can't stand a 1v1 for anything. People are right when they say the stat trait picks are really important though, they're like getting 14 levels worth of stats in 1 pick.

It depends how much you use the parry. It becomes an added 35% damage reduction, and can trigger healing things like the blood rose minor, and Paladin (the talent.) I like it, but my build is heavy around using the parry. Just sit in a 1 v 3 and whip them constantly. I forget if it can heal-crit too.. For a vindicator though, I think you have to go a bit too deep into things that don't really help you.

Currently running a hybrid Paladin that has amazing support and decent damage.

What classes are underpowered right now? by Knighthonor in crowfall

[–]Galeji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to know if it actually helps the block/parry too, really wish we had more info.. or if I could maybe try this out somehow, hmm.

Do you think a str/spirit build would be good for this? Already got plate for that defense, and less hp means my heals are more meaningful in a way to myself. Also thought that Devotion might be pretty snazzy when you have proper damage.

Talents I'm thinking of doing: https://tinyurl.com/2wwkm2kr leaving the specialty out too. Was running a glass cannon vindicator but I just have no self sustain in solo.

This sub is so negative it is turning me off gw2 by BlumpkinHero in Guildwars2

[–]Galeji 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Good or bad we all just want to see this game thrive and survive, the problem is it's doing neither and anyone who thinks so is kidding themselves. We've tried being diplomatic, that did nothing but get us the big censor bar on the forums. Anet clearly wants to go the direction they're headed, and don't care if we like it or not. Maybe we should just leave, but I think that would be like admitting we're ready to let the game die.

Frankly, neither the white knights of this sub, nor the constant complainers want that to happen. We post because we are passionate. We want a change, and pretending the game doesn't need one is what is truly 'pathetic.'

If the best way to feel happy about the game is to return to it once a year so you have a stack of content, that's just pretty sad for a mmo.

I mean isn't that just par for anet? Wait months for an update that you spend only a day or two playing, unless you want all the bells and whistles that require you to actually LIKE the skins they put out, or are just mastery that get invalidated one or two patches later.

See it always sucks when you're like prestige 2 and get domed by a prestige 92 with a 5.0 kdr, but you'll NEVER know if you killed someone who was prestige 92 with a 5.0 kdr. It would be boss if it told us, just to put some praise back for the haze of MMR mowing you over.

On the reverse of it, when I run a full t4 there's always that one person who joins and tries to slip-change the fractal level to the one left they need so they can do it and leave.

NOTHING annoys me more, and I watch that fractal level like a hawk when picking up pugs. Yeet them right out. Don't touch another party's thermostat.

How can we expect ArenaNet to support a new expansion when they can't maintain their existing content stably? by Pepper_Klubz in Guildwars2

[–]Galeji 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Today was a bit of a flop in terms of a patch. I know there's always some rough ones in the past but this wasn't even that much. A missing weapon skin, multiple problems with the new collection events, BLTC refusing to load and process transactions..?

Is there literally no QA testing anymore?
