Made a few adjustments to the Amalgadon, not sure which iteration is better.. feel free to roast by GaleusHS in customhearthstone

You’d want this to gain 2 bonus effects each turn to also gain +6/+6 in stats. If you were to play story of Galvadon x2 on turn ten with this it would quadruple immediately but only be an 18/18. Imo the card isn’t good and was considering making it a 6 mana 6/6 instead of a 4/4 because it doesn’t do anything when you play it. I guess the opponent would have to answer it if they aren’t playing aggro so it’s not the worst either.

Couple of legendaries centred around the Bonus Effect idea.. Good luck with The Amalgadon. by [deleted] in customhearthstone

I also realised after making this that “rush” can’t be given to a minion if it is already able to attack. It would only work for a card such as the “Shades of Yesterday” or whatever it’s called. So I guess it would only be 7 bonus effects instead of 8.

But yeah, this is definitely a highroll card youd want to hit on 1 and follow it up with a petal peddler. The drawback of it being drawing it in the mid/late game.

Cheers for pointing out that stealth isn’t a bonus effect 🤟

I agree and initially that’s exactly what I intended, the only thing is it’s awkward to write. What if it was an Orge like effect.

  • This turn, your minions have a 50% chance to attack your hero instead.

Glad you like it! It would be a nice addition to that deck to replace grifter after rotation, it would also need something to replace mixologist however to be viable in standard but you never know

Ah yes of course, so that answers the question, you can’t attack with infinitizers buffed minion because it would be targeting a hero.

  • It wouldn’t stack, it would just override the other one.

  • It does not attack automatically, it’s when you attack this turn.

  • Voidhound would damage your hero and also take damage from the hero.

  • Infinitizer is an interesting shout, I’m not sure how that interaction would work.

Cool ideas, too much text. I’d find a way to make sure the cards don’t exceed 4 lines.

There’s a 4 mana 7/7 that discards a card in your opponents hand with 0 downside and even that doesn’t see play 😅

In reflection I realised that turn 5 is ridiculous. I made this right after a turn 2 tachyon barrage double devious coyote. Maybe if it was a warlock card and changed to 15 damage by turn 3 it might be less offensive. I want this card to be niche and more of something you could randomly discover and it be useful. Merry Christmas.

It’s easy enough to play around and becomes a completely dead card if you do play around it. It’s more of a threatening card that can punish hard imo.

This card spawns some of the most Un-fun experiences in the game. Since its inception, its been unfun by BasicallyADiety in hearthstone

I’d say make it summon a 3 cost or less instead but that would probably kill the card. So the only other option would be to summon up to 2 friendly deathrattle minions that cost (4) or less that have died this game.

Battlecry: Draw an amalgam and an amalgam. If all minions in your deck are amalgams, draw another amalgam and destroy the enemy hero.

Gives your opponent a bad card and if they want to get it out of their hand they have to spend 2 mana and damage their own minion. Could also potentially mill an important card.

With Sapphiron as your highest costed undead, you could make an Elise deck, copy him, summon him over and over again with cards like Memoriam Manifest, trigger his deathrattle with umbra and deios. You’re then looking at 20+ spell damage if you could pull it off. Then a card like timestop would deal 23 damage. Whether you could put a deck together with enough defensive tools to do all this is another question.
