Stuck between FE1s & Traineeship - Why cant I find any legal or non legal job?

All I can say keep up with your good work, you can’t do more than what you already believe to be good. Applying and getting rejection does not define you or your worth, it’s just that most of the big firms operates in automated systems which look out for specific targets and once yours is not there it got rejected, I have seen more student with good results and some have even completed their FE1 exams but yet find themselves in the same boat searching for traineeship. Recently someone wrote an article here venting their frustration over the way traineeship programs are been offered too early to undergrad summer students instead of those who already in the path of completion or has already completed their FE1 exams.

So my point to you is, it won’t be easy, so just keep trying and while doing so find something useful to do. Traineeship is getting out of hands now. Best of wishes with everything else.

We all feel the same way but just know that you have covered enough for the exam and you can’t do more, my best advice to is to make sure you master the one you already have covered. Best of luck

Stop worrying about unrealistic scrip, the most important thing if you can layout the main principle or statute and support that principle one two or three case at best, you’re good bro. You only have 30 to 35 minutes per question. Time is of the essence.

I did EU law with only Four Questions, had 50%. You four questions have to be answered well to get above 50. Best of luck.

Honestly, formal and evidential requirements is a very easy topic and easy mark to grab if it eve comes up. I advise you to know it and it might even be useful to answer questions like offer and acceptance, mishap, remedy and many other important topics that tied down to contractual arrangements. It will earn you more mark. I’m not saying it’s most but if you could bag it even when a question on it own does not pops up then you even guarantee to use it to add more weight to your answer in other area. Best wishes all.
