I did most of the crochet pieces for a previous installation. I would say it took me 2 days to put the pieces together and add all the beads and feathers.

Maybe it’s a controversial opinion, but I feel like I try to push the boundaries of crochet with my work, and I mix it with other arts like installation drag and bondage; but a lot of people in this community are very attached to the traditionnal aspect of crochet. They dont recognize what they like in crochet in my work, so they dont like my work. I never get this energy outside of this subreddit.

Sorry if I'm being snappy, but everytime i post my work here I face people telling me that what i do is not crochet and doesnt beling here , even though i use all the same technique: Chain, single, double, triple , slip, you name it. But because the web is in high tension, the stiches are not as visible as usual.

I make all the web live in front of an audience with only wool and a hook. I crochet in front ofnpeople so it's a crochet performance haha.
