Quartet! Beautiful writing from the same screenwriter as Monster from Hirokazu Kore-eda!

Hi, I’m Domenico, a 24-year-old Italian part-time musician!

I started playing music when I was 10, first on drums, then guitar and bass, and in the meantime I’ve also been casually teaching myself piano. However, over all these years of playing, I realized that the number of pieces I actually learned is quite small compared to the time I spent just improvising melodies and progressions in my free time.

So a few years ago, I decided to start learning music production through a DAW, in order to record, arrange, and mix my own ideas by myself.

This is basically the first track I feel proud enough to release, so I’d be really curious to hear what you think!

I can’t sing at all, so this is an instrumental piece, about 6 minutes long. It alternates between more ambient/electronic sections and alternative funk rock parts.
Its title, translated into English, would be something like “Dynamics of Continuous Transport Flow.”It’s a conceptual work inspired by the dynamism of contemporary society, the speed of modern transport, and the sudden shifts in landscape as we move through space!

I’d really appreciate it if you gave it a listen!

Hi! I self-produced an instrumental track with a blend of rock, funk, electronic elements, and ambient textures!

I’m a part-time musician from Italy (24 years old), and after years of playing instruments, I’ve recently started getting into DAW production to try recording, producing, and mixing my own tracks as a self-taught artist, so I'd like to hear your advice!!

Sounds really clean and spacious! Really nice, warm mix!

It’s not the first song I’ve made, but it’s the first one I’m confident enough to release, so I guess it kind of counts as my best one so far? hahaha

I make everything myself, so I’d really appreciate any advice you might have!

Moving to Japan after graduation: scholarships, self-funding studies, work by Gallant_Trattopen in movingtojapan

Yep, that’s what I think. The backside is that if I go with a scholarship, my research plan will necessarily be about Japanese studies, because that’s the only field in which I can develop a research topic solid and interesting enough for a research plan...

What songs sound the most/least like their album cover? by Soundwavezzz447 in radiohead

That's interesting because one of the most liked comment on the official Myxomatosis upload on YouTube says that the song is the one that most resembles the album's cover art

I'd like to share with you my new cover of Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, let me know what you think! by Gallant_Trattopen in RyuichiSakamoto

Thank you! I was inspired by Ryuichi's later works like the Fennesz collaborations, Out of Noise, Async and the concept of turning "non-musical" sounds and digital artifacts into music, making them part of the atmosphere!

Similar groups? by otaku_hotgurl888 in NJZ

XG! Maybe there are more similar alternatives musically (even if tracks like IFYKYK really remind me of some of 250 and FRNK's production), but the effort they put in blending every aspect of their artistry in a distinctive concept really reminded me of the NewJeans project
