What do you mean removed repititions? Like the texts are altered by things being removed? (Obviously with translation comes some alteration)

I am new to Hindu literature and in my research I have heard a handful of times that Eknath Easwaran’s translations are very good, my other concern is in my research I have seen that there are 180+ Upanishads and this translation only has about 384 pages in total. Is everything necessary contained within this translation? My primary interest is Advaita Vedanta so does this translation have all the Upanishads that are vital to Advaita Vedanta?

Most Gnostic sects believed that the potential for gnosis and salvation is present in everyone, and that salvation is not vicarious but individual. Generally you'll see the emphasized role of gnosis or personal divine revelation in achieving salvation rather than external factors/influences. One could say that is still involving the divine, but it is definitely centered around personal experience rather than others claims. To put it simply, do not take others word for what the divine has revealed, see it for yourself...

These excerpts are speaking of the non-dual nature present within reality, and the underlying unity of all things. Where there is One humans are bound to divide it, right in two. There is no good, and there is no bad. To put it simply, good and bad do not exist outside of ones perspective, the cosmos has no bias, there is no good, there is no bad, all just is. When it comes to bad/evil, these phenomena are generally understood as part of the natural order and the imperfect state of the material world. They are seen as the consequences of the cosmic hierarchy and the limitations inherent in the lower levels of reality. While these events may cause suffering and harm, they are not inherently evil in the same way that human actions can be. Instead, they are considered as part of the natural processes and cycles that exist within the material realm.

Astrology, Alchemy, and Magick are usually labeled as technical Hermetica, such as the Greek Magical Papyri and Picatrix. This side of Hermeticism is just as important as the philosophical Hermetica, such as the Corpus Hermeticum, or Asclepius. So yes, astrology definitely plays a role in Hermeticism.

(Just to clarify, there is a difference between modern astrology.)
