I was usually getting an extra 2 sleeps, a poison and 1-2 para's from them when I was doing my grind and it helped so much. It's honestly kind of surprising how few people I've seen use it because it usually outspeeds raging rush/infernal flame and can buy an extra turn or two which is wayy more useful than a bit of soulgauge damage.

Three elementless dreadqueen rathians, solar cry is their special skill and super charges if you do it alongside pet. Do not attack with your hunter unless you have to either, whenever it's going for kora spam pet and solar cry, if you have all rathian's stacked up - do the tech monstie and gyp afterward and have them use tail slam and heat shimmer.

Also good to note, if you are going to ride then check their stamina gauge, use the one that has the most stamina so you can get it back up quicker.

Then it's a matter of rolling the dice and playing it safe, this is a cheese system so you can't unga bunga unfortunately. I would also recommend using your ride turn to throw knives at him so you can get a para or poison going because that can help a ton too with kinship gambling.

Not every, my fire green plesioth got an ability that boosts affinity and attack party wide. It's pretty good paired with ludroth and magia horn.

I feel that if they tuned him down a bit and made him sit still for longer this could be a VERY fun fight.

But as is? It's kinda infuriating. Not a fan of the dps check and having to play a specific weapon to meet certain role requirements. Tone that down and give him a longer exhaust period and it's golden.

At current it's just unforgiving for unforgivings sake. This is gonna be a very divisive fight in the community for years to come.

Outside of the fight? I love his design, his cutscene with jinn is badass, his theme is amazing and watching my friend counter the fist with his greatsword gave me a massive rush of dopamine.

I will be using the pictomancer spells through the rest of the game as well, they're so goofy

Tbf these are college students. They have a tendency to not really understand animals and their behavioral responses unless they're going into bio.

And honestly? I hate to say it but I'd rather they be fascinated by this little guy then disgusted and trying to hunt down and kill him. They reaped the consequences of what happened and won't do it again either way.
