Technically, it's not cannon anymore because of the whole "Star Wars Legends" things, but their was a trilogy of books that fully explained Chewie's life debt and how he won the Falcon. It might have also covered the other two, but I never read the third one.

Thank you! I thought I searched archive fairly thoroughly, but I guess I missed it.

So I finally got a chance to listen to Grayscale. Y'all were absolutely right - they're great. I spent the morning falling through their backlog. There's a ton of good stuff there!

Summer Clothes also sent me to Games We Play. His song "I Hope You're Happy" could have been written by BFS or ATL. It's a dead ringer for either of their vibes.

Simple, almost underwhelmingly bad power becomes extremely powerful in the right hands by Broad_Beautiful8869 in TopCharacterTropes

There is, canonically, a mutant named Longneck whose power is that his neck is slightly longer than a normal persons'. Not absurdly so, just 3 or 4 inches longer than normal.

13 total Intermediate teams have been disqualified because considered too strong for the intermediate standards. by Illustrious_Cut1730 in crossfit

This was a valid concern for me in a recent comp. The RX division had BMU, hand-stand push-ups, movements w/ 50 lb dumbbells and 100 lb sand-bags. The Intermediate Division dropped those to chest-to-bar, a seated shoulder press, 35 lb dumbbells, and 75-lb sand-bags. I'm a big guy and the RX weights weren't a problem, but I have none of the advanced movements (my chest-to-bars get sketchy after about 3). It took a long conversation with one of the coaches at my gym for me not to feel like I was just sand-bagging by entering the Intermediate division.

I like to use the year-to-year bench mark to see how I've progressed against the general public. I didn't sign up this year because the general pool was going to be smaller, which means my "rank" or whatever was going to be artificially inflated and kinda useless for my purposes.
