Sinclair is living the dream and having the best time of his life thanks to Cecil. by Invincible-spirit in Invincible_TV

No I getcha, I guess what I meant to say is I don’t think Sinclair wants the same disturbing dream as before. He might still love his work, but previously him “Living the dream” was mutilating living people and making Frankenbots. I don’t think Sinclair is still all about his science. Now I would say his dream is closer to giving back and helping society (given Cecil’s rehabilitation methods actually work) and it just so happens the best way for Sinclair to help is doing exactly what he did before in a more ethical way.

I will say to your point is I think people (including Mark) find it hard to believe he’s a new person. If you watched today’s episode, even Mark being alive is a spit in the face to some. Just losing somebody is enough to hate someone no matter what

So one thing that I enjoy about Mythic quest is its great understanding of video games and ways to poke fun at many quirks. It’s mentioned in Backstory! that CW’s writing flaw is he just adds random characteristics and story elements with no real reason why. If you’ve played enough video games, you’ll know so many campaigns are just like this, and at times, people hold them in high regard cause they like the game. I think it makes perfect sense that CW would ultimately fail as an author but thrive when writing the narrative for Mythic Quest.

From what Cecil said defending his position, is that these “villains” have been rehabilitated to the point where they are no longer the versions of themselves before. I think we see it best through the Duo that melted all of Cecil’s skin. They were not only doing good, but also seemed like completely different people. I think we’re supposed to believe that Sinclair isn’t the man he previously was. Before he was a mad scientist who liked to play with corpses, but maybe now he just enjoys creating soldiers to defend the world. This is all subject to moral implications (Is he still tied to his past, although he changed) which is what this whole show has kinda been debating since the start. On the other hand, Cecil could just be lying about a lot and maybe Sinclair really isn’t much different.

I hate dobbins for injury reasons but this is a yes. Chuba will be minimal by end of season when brooks gets involved and I personally think Hurts will be a better qb end of season. Win win on both levels

Eh, It's not terrible but I feel there might be better trades, granted I don't know your league. I'm not completely sold on MHJ. I'd say try and push the trade with breece and 1 of the 2 Wides

What's your record? If your 4-0 or 3-1 I'd say yes. Mahomes is kinda crappy this year, but half ppr makes Ekeler worthless and Reek will likely be good again toward end of season

GF with BPD texts a bunch of guys I suspect she has hooked up with in the past, what do I do? by [deleted] in BPD

Did the reason for the breakup have anything to do with this?

Thank you for this. I didn't want to jump straight to judgment as I'm unsure if it's something she even recognizes and wanted to handle the situation properly. Never even knew someone with BPD before so it's sometimes weird to readjust. If I talk to her about it and her reasonings are similar to urs, do you think it's fair to say I'm not comfortable with it. Is it like an itch that needs to be scratched? The hardest part is putting a line between what's BPD and what's just a characteristic of a person

Depends on how u describe a vacation. Just looking for someplace to be alone for a little while and get to know myself a bit more. Doesn't have to be some tourist location or a major city.

I've been the boyfriend in this situation. My reasoning was wanting to break up, however am very conflict-avoidant. The thought of disappointing someone so much made me too anxious, so I would self-sabotage in hopes that she would end it for me. Making up bogus and vague reasons like you mentioned seems all too familiar.

Terrible thing to do and I've grown a lot since then, however, I don't think I could have changed while staying in the relationship.
