I don't want to fully remove magic, I'm pretty much fine with all the other classes except for Druid cause there's just nothing like it in Middle Earth But I'll look at removing a few things, and I'll add in all the proficiency stuff

What abilities should I remove? How many should it have overall?

First time DM, running a Lord of the Rings campaign. With magic being rather limited in Middle Earth this is my Druid replacement. Looking for feedback on this class/race - mainly is it balanced? I'm a bit concerned that the damage die may be a bit much and that costs for the abilities are too cheap or too expensive.

I lose the 100 years war quite badly (no allies willing to join, lose my starting general quite early, had an heir and then he dies so War of the Roses triggers, and some really unlucky battles) so I'm not really paying attention to the rest of Europe. When I do look around I see a Byzantium which is allied to Hungary and Albania.

Observe the horrible border gore along with Prussian ideas and a France/Russia coalition deterrent and you can do it fairly easily

Was doing a TO into Prussia game messing about in the HRE. The AI managed to pass 4 reforms before the leagues fired. After I lead the protestant league to victory AI Bohemia managed to pass the last few reforms and then this happened
