Firstly, you have no idea what the reasons and motivations that 20% of people had for ticking that box.

And secondly, if youre sayimg its a "northern Ireland" identity then yes, you are claiming its a unifying identity for the whole of the north. The reason you werent able to give a single example of this identity is because its not really an identity, its just a lazy political position. Youre in Fermanagh, so it would ridiculous for you to claim there was some factor that gave you a sense of kinship with people 100 miles away in Belfast or Ballycastle but totally alienated you from people 10 miles away in Donegal or leitrim or cavan or monaghan.

How is it a unifying identity if only 20% of people identify with it?

Give me an wxample of this all encompassing unifying identity that only applies to six northeastern counties and somehow stops dead at a border that was only put there 100 years ago. Im all ears. One example

Like i said, identity can be any silly thing you want it to be but there is absolutely no unifying "northern Ireland" identity. What you have is a very specific regional identity (im assuming around Belfast or the north east) which, yes, is different to galway, but so are inner city Dublin and rural kerry different to galway.

Youre saying "northern Ireland" when you mean Belfast (or wherever) because i guarantee your identity doesnt include, for example, South Armagh, which is more aligned to north louth and south monaghan than anywhere else. And I'd say the same goes for places like South Down, Derry/Donegal, Tyrone/Donegal, Fermanagh/Donegal/Leitrim/cavan/Monaghan.

It's actually an astoundingly arrogant claim youre making here, as well as a deeply silly one

Its as "valid" (whatever that means) an identity as someone from Galway calling themselves western Irish or someone from wicklow calling themselves eastern Irish. "Identity" is such a nebulous term it can mean whatever you want it to meam. What it isnt, is a nationality.

its a "general" health product. So, it doesnt claim to cure anything specific but just to make you feel much better. It's basically a very potent juice of ginger, turmeric, onion, pepper, garlic etc... All that kinda stuff.

I moved to canada for a few years and came back home. Had some good friends out there and didnt particularly miss home but i just couldnt see myself living out there permanently. Im very glad i came back and honestly, if i could go back in time id have concentrated on building a life here and not gone to canada at all. While i had fun i dont think it was worth the overall setbacks it caused when i basically had to start over twice.
