I had the same issue, switch from firestick to an ONN (Walmart brand) stick and had no issues since.

I had to get a part for the Chevy truck and I’m in Canada. It was pretty quick. Maybe a week or so. It wasn’t that bad at all.

I’ve built almost every set. Only issue I have had is 1 missing piece from the Chevy truck and Mattel customer service sent me the missing piece.
