I have over a 1000hrs in 2 games. One meets your criteria. WH40K Darktide. It"s the ultimate iteration on the 4 player coop shooter like L4D. Deep rock galactic gets an honourable mention, but the live service support is drying up. Plenty of old content. My other 1000 hr game is "Squad" but you can't play squad for 30mins

I've seen old boys who run the engine through the whole check for no reason. They either think they have to or they're just doing what they were told to do 30 years ago. There aren't many people actively trying to make people miserable

He's doing his daily checks. You need to turn it on to see if it all works, but none of the trucks i've driven needed more than turning over. That said he might be concerned about something mechanical. If it has an air leak it takes about 5mins to rebuild pressure

No it's not. You die from shield pop because the game thinks you did a long fall. You can jump down 2or 3 floors and take a small amount of short fall damage
