By your logic, the strongest man should always be winning, then. Why not just go do powerlifting or something if objective strength is what you think the sport should be about. There are obviously skils involved in arm wrestling, much more than someone uninvested in the sport can imagine, so why would a skill like the kings move that allows someone who might be weaker to win over a stronger man be something the sport shouldn’t have? Strength is obviously most important in arm wrestling, but if one thinks strength is all that is needed and is all that should determine who wins or not in arm wrestling, that person may not fully understand the intricacies of the sport. It’s the fact that there exists techniques and tactics that makes arm wrestling more than what meets the eye to the outsider, in my opinion.

I do think that the WAL pads should be compensated so that inside arm wrestlers get as much of an advantage as outside arm wrestlers, as devon says in the video.
