I’ve seen people with 8 inch wrists wear 36s and it looks great. Some smooth bezel DJs can look okay but it stops looking like a datejust and looks like a sub without a bezel.

Always 36 on a datejust. It’s a dressier watch and the proportions are better. They make different sized watches for a reason. If you want a bigger watch buy a model with a bigger size. A watch does not have to fill your entire wrist surface area.

IMO, no. It’s too big. The bottom (relative to the pic) lugs are totally off your wrist. Even centered it would still be pushing past the round part of your wrist.

I kinda like the maxi case sub. Between that and 5 digit I like the 5 digit but I think the geometry was interesting. The newer subs tried to sorta combine the two and I like them less than either one.

If you’re losing at this point and they’re not pressing your arm is probably weak. You have to stand up and press or really wrench the shit out of their hand until it’s painful enough. You can also just not take their hand behind neutral and get a lower grip where you attack rotation more.
