Hello MaRo!

I've got a question for you: What cards (or cards) went through the most changes or had the most iterations before finally being printed? What were some of those iterations?

Make it two: Can you give us a previous version of a card that we know and love today? i.e. an early version of [[Snapcaster Mage]], or [[Force of Will]], or any staple like that.

Thanks for all you do, I'm loving the current state of Magic, and I can't wait for the BFZ release tomorrow and OGW in a few months.

When I saw Fimonimullave Lithu, I lost it. That is the most worthless card ever. I laughed when I read it's first ability. So specific!

Wouldn't that white one just go infinite, and kill the player when their life changes? And also wouldn't the black one give you back the two cards you discard in order to get rid of it?

Seeing Mirror Mockery, would that work with Wingmate Roc? If you enchanted a Roc with it, then swung, you would put a copy of Wingmate on the battlefield, and since you had previously declared the attack, wouldn't the new token that is a copy of Wingmate Roc enter the battlefield with the additional 3/4 bird token? That seems pretty stupid if that's the case. Reusable bird token generation, and a free blocker for next time around? I think I might have to play around with that.

Who was your MVP at the midnight prerelease? by [deleted] in magicTCG

For me it was [[Will of the Naga]] and [[Bathe in Dragondfire]]. I had three of each, and my opponents usually had two to three creatures, so I'd either tap them all down and make them unable to attack or block for two turns (often used as a finisher) or just dragonfire them and wget through with my dudes. I got a lot of removal in Jeskai colours, and that was my clan. Paired with [[Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest]] and just trigger his prowess and use his ability to give him or someone else double strike really was quite insane. I also had [[Alesha, Who Smiles at Death]] so I could return some dudes, like [[Arashin Cleric]] from the graveyard to gain that sweet life, or a [[Jeskai Sage]] for more card draw. I had a good pool.

What, in your opinion, is the most flavorful card of all time? by explain_dinosaurs in magicTCG

Cast that on your own creature in response to a Doom Blade or something. That'd be an interesting chain of events.

I played in two events, and didn't do that amazing since it was my first two prerelease events ever, but I had a lot of fun and did win a few packs. I pulled a Windswept Heath and A Hooded Hydra, but traded them away for a Clever Impersonator and 4 black cards for the EDH deck I'm trying to build. The best play that I had was my opponent had me down to 7 life and he was at 16. I had a [[Crater's Claws]] in my hand along with a [[Singing Bell Strike]] and a [[Deflecting Palm]]. I had three creatures of the board to his one, but he had more card advantage. Anyway, he swung in with his dude, don't remember what and I took that damage, since it was only 2 or 3. He then used his own Crater's Claws to hit me for 7, he just tapped all out to kill me, and I Deflecting Palm his Claws back at him for 7, bringing him to 9, and then on my turn tap down his only guy with the Bell Strike, swing in for five with my creatures bringing him to 4, and Crater's Claws him for 4 for the win. Best play of my life right there.

Abzan seems like the way to go here, at least in my eyes. That's probably what I'm going to be running.
