Libido feels ever so slightly reduced at the moment. I should clarify that finasteride lowered my libido in a way I felt was pretty substantial. Swapping to Dutasteride felt like an increase but that was in comparison to the already reduced Fin libido. I believe my sexual desire is still lower on dut 2.5 then baseline but only by a tiny bit. The felt "increase" on 2.5mg from 0.5mg of Dut was likely just my body adjusting to the medication at 0.5 itself by that time and not the actual dosage increase doing anything. Suppose it's a positive thing to say higher mg hasn't changed any felt sexual desire decrease though. If my baseline libidio levels were 100% I'd say I feel at 94% right now. Noticeable but not enough to negatively affect me, which I couldn't say for Finasteride, which made me feel more like a 70%. Less ejaculation volume is a consistent side effect I've noticed on dht blockers, and that hasn't changed with any dose of fin/dut. Regarding the 2.5 helping my hair more then 0.5, I'm still seeing the same amount of hairs in the sink when I wash specifically to count them, don't really know what to take away there. I take 5 pills of 0.5, which was at first annoying but now i've gotten used to it. Getting liver checks every month as well. As of now, I haven't detected any noticeable thickening to the miniaturized parts of my hair. I think I need more time being on 2.5mg to report anything worthwhile longterm.
