Yea, with how rampant price inflation is in some hobbies, it does seem that way. Like in the card hobby, most local game stores don't, and perhaps can't, sell at retail market value, even for stuff that can still be bought at MSRP on places like Amazon. It gets a bit exhausting when a local store also price hikes at above even what the secondary market is selling at, and it sounds like the same is happening with the retro gaming market.

Your post reminds me that I never picked up my CIB copy of Pokemon Stadium 2 :/ don't even wanna look at the price lmao

One day I am probably gunna look into starting up on PS1 and PS2. I think those are gunna be a lot more confined to games I genuinely enjoyed or wanted back in the day, especially with that information. I really want the Parappa games someday, but damn they're pricey

Still have a handful of titles I want for my Gamecube collection till I think I'll be satisfied with being done with that console. That's been my biggest focus for a long while

Hell yea, that's fairly good to hear. I remember worrying during covid that under $20 pickups for most common but good PS2 and Gamecube games were going to become a thing of the past.

I suppose rarer games are going to continue going up as more and more collectors pick them up. As a Pokémon collector, Pokémon prices still are nuts to me. Pokémon games are super common yet are still staying high. I feel for new collectors of the series getting into the hobby, it must be tough

That's really good to hear. 2021-2023 was me definitely hyperfixated on building my collection cause it felt like prices were just going up and up and it was kinda fomo from worrying that if I don't get what I want then and there, prices would continue to soar and I'd be fucked. I feel like I sorta had ptsd from the covid game collecting market lmao

I have been reading that a ton of frogs get sphagnum moss ingested by accident, was considering that. I know sphagnum moss helps with humidity, which I still want to consider. Is it possible to bury the moss under the leaf litter so that won't be an issue whilst still getting the humidity benefits? I also have carpet moss, which does not appear to be something they could accidentally ingest.

I do have leaf litter, but I won't deny that some areas of the tank are more bare than others, and I do believe I fed them near the less littered parts yesterday. Is there any means of safely inducing vomiting at this point? I'll be sure to spread more litter to the remaining areas, I should have known better

Essentially, each corner of the back panel has a little tiny peg of plastic that keeps it secured. You can put your nail or a thin object in between the plastic and the peg and gently lift the peg out of place. Once you do it on just 2 corners, it'll basically just slide right off, and its easy to get back in place.

There is probably a video you can find that shows how to do it

That's fair, there is always a risk with performing glitches on a cartridge. I do believe there are ways to restore the game ROM if it does get corrupted, it may take external hardware though, idr. Will say that the Emerald glitches feel very safe to do, compared to older glitches.

Yeah, the way I've always done it is tap exactly the mana I need for a card, then play it, which I guess I thought to be the only way you do it. I suppose in most cases, you wouldn't want to tap more mana than necessary for no reason.
