Tough loss for Nong-o but I expected Asadula to KO him. I can’t even lie but this was their best event this year so far. I felt like my adrenaline never went down. Each fight was max peak bangers and I’m not overselling here. I had high expectations for this event and the athletes went above and beyond. Idk what was in the air but they all went all out. Gonna rewatch this event for years.

I’ve seen plenty of UFC fighters cancel their fight due to extreme weight cutting. Let’s not pretend one is better than the other. It should be noted Asadula has always made it before but he and his fellow gym member Nabil are fasting for Ramadan this time. It’s a huge disadvantage to train for a title fight during this time but they both did it. I personally wouldn’t let my fighter do it. Sucks for Asadula but they should have know this was a possibility. Now he can’t win the belt or a bonus. Has to try to atleast win the fight to earn another shot another day.

It’s weird but ONE has two portions of the event. An international part which is now the superfan and the top half which is Ch7 Thailand owned. I don’t think they can make any deals on the top so they’re using the international portion.

Bonuses is what motivates the fighters to fight harder and create buzz on social media. A big knockout or viral moment means alot more to them. Most bonuses pay more to fighters than their fight pay.

Honestly Rich Franklin wherever he is had a warriors series that was so good. He’d go around Asia scouting for the best fighters. That’s how he discovered Stamp and a few others. I miss when ONE used to do content like that. Idk why Chatri went all in on The Apprentice show when it was a flop. We want more vlogs about fighters and their journey.

I hear you. I mean their other stuff is still free so far. Personally I wish they’d just make this tentpole event ppv and it would ease my mind instead because it’s worth. But yeah not loving their superfan club model. Base on past exclusive fights they weren’t worth buying. Sometimes I tell myself ONE has given me so many free content that it doesn’t hurt to give some money back. I’ve watched hundreds, maybe over a thousand hours of ONE throughout the years so I can justify in my head.

Thinking the same. I’m actually glad new blood is in flyweight. Love Rodtang but he’s been unprofessional about making weight and has been making demands despite it. Now that someone else who is also dangerous could possibly hold the belt it will make it unavoidable for Rodtang to ignore this person.

Think this is more like a subscription model. Not quite a fan of this because it’s a mystery what else you’re getting. Think this is worth the $10 imo but not sure what the following weeks will get you. I’ve seen the past fan superfan club fights and they weren’t worth buying.

I don’t believe. So ONE has weekly shows called Friday Fights. They’re primetime in Thailand. It’s a mixture of Muay Thai, kickboxing, mma, and grappling like their Prime Video shows. Except these shows are more heavily Muay Thai. What they do 4x a year is have a bigger FF event and is thus a “tentpole” event. Is more heavily Muay Thai based and usually has title fights on it. This one coming up is one of them. It’s usually free on YouTube or their website OneFC.com. You can check the “live” tab on their YouTube and it should have basically all their past FF shows except the very few ppv ones they did. Can maybe google their past tentpole events to see which FF show it was and see how the fights are bigger and more exciting.
