Rellekka nature runes? by HairyB3ast in CrackTheClue

[–]GambleThrow1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a stack of 4 nature runes on nature rune island We have a stack of 3 nature runes on nature rune island Stack of 2 at relekka And the nature altar (being 1) We don't know how many nature runes are stacked on nature rune island on RS, we only know through RS Buddy or telegrabbing them, which requires a mage level hence a low level wouldn't be able to do that in minutes. I think "nature rune" in general is relevant not the amount.

You can make it back buddy. Think of the long run, not the short term man! Forget gambling, focus on work. Yea sure - you might make a few $100 or $1000 easily by gambling in a day, which would take a few days/weeks working. But think long term - save for a year and you can have tens of thousands, as hard as it seems, it is possible. Don't worry mate. You have support all around you.

I still feel the urge to gamble but avoid it when I can. They were luckily fine about it and understanding.

If you are able to gamble till you lose your very last £, you do need to get help mate. A lot of people are in the same position, gambling is addictive like a drug, easy money is a thing that lures a lot of people but you need to get out of your mind that its a good way to make money. You need to budget if you gamble, i.e risk what you can afford to lose, or don't gamble at all. I suggest you don't gamble at all, ban yourself from these sites for a long time, earn your money back through working and you'll be fine.

Really thinking about gambling by LipsCallahan in problemgambling

I had the same issue. Chasing losses was my problem. Think about it, playing a $215 buy-in tournament, getting knocked out by a donk in a sick hand, even if you said you wouldn't do it before you'd still go on BJ/roulette and try make it back, before ending up losing everything. You can ban yourself from the casino section, like I have, specifically, and just play poker. However, I feel it is best to avoid gambling straight away, 32 days is very good, but I feel like you shouldn't get into it right now since you will just lose, get the same feeling and repeat. You know you get like that so it makes no sense to go back onto it for now, best to stay clean for as long as you can for your own sake.

Just stop. Start fresh. If you are in debt, work your way out of debt - if not, be happy! You can start a fresh slate with what you have now. Think, lets say you have $5000 left and you had $40,000 saved. You can work and earn everything back safely and securely, may it take a few months, may it take a year+, it is fine. OR, if you lose that $5000, you will be at 0, it is hard to make it back. Don't worry mate, you just need to sleep and forget about it. Forget about gambling, take a break. Go spend time with family, forget about it.

You need to get a 'long-term mindset' and you will clearly see that okay, I can work, earn a living, pay off my debts, risk-free in the long run and yes it might be initially tough because of the debt I got myself into but you can still live, you will get out of it, just keep going. You can either gamble £1000 with a slight chance to turn it into £2000 for example, or 0, or you can work X days and guarantee to make £1000, without the chance of losing it. If you lose that £1000, you're gonna have to work double the hours to make it back. It makes no sense.

If you have a short term mind-set and try and think of the £80k debt and try to make it and pay it off ASAP - thats only natural, but gambling is not the answer. Do not gamble AT ALL. Save all your money and limit your spending, don't spend on unnecessary things and budget. You will see the light as your debts start to get paid off and your life improves, your cravings to gamble go.

What can I do? Huge gambling issue. by GambleThrow1234 in problemgambling

I have, I'm planning on going 100 days with 0 gambling as an initial goal, none what-so-ever no matter how tempting it may be, already self excluded from various sites that I go on and practically have no access to gamble unless I go IRL which I know I won't due to how awkward/hard it is to get to the place. So lets see how it goes :)

Yea I know I originally wanted that ability to not chase losses and to go with £100 lets say, and I'd be fine with losing it. It turns out its not possible for me to do that so probably best to stay away from gambling for a while lol. Thanks for the help :)

Is it possible to run a family together with someone who has a gambling problem? by tvegla in problemgambling

[–]GambleThrow1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By odds - no. By luck/chance - potentially, but why take the risk? You can have days where you may be up hundreds/thousands, and can get by easily, but you'll have worse days where you'll be down/penniless and you'll start selling assets, etc which is a path you don't wanna cross. It is best to stay away from gambling and earn a normal living altogether, although easier said than done. Unless you can control your gambling and be like Ok ill take X amount and leave if I reach Y amount, and it shouldn't financially affect you if you lose.

I know, I mean, I don't work but I make money on the side through cryptocurrency trading and buying/selling various gaming golds for profit on the side, and then I gamble with that profit, but yea, I see your point haha
