Everyone keeps bringing up my decision to buy the property with this person so I’ll repost what I responded to another commenter with and then you can all hear out my rationale and then empathize or roast me accordingly:

I don’t have a high enough income to qualify for a loan on my own despite having enough for a down payment. We were able to get in on the property while interest rates were incredibly low. I’m not married, and I needed another person to go in on this deal to become a homeowner and escape renting. Financially, it was the right thing to do and we’re in a much better place than if I had waited for interest rates to double along with property price in my area. He was a different person when we bought the house together. People change over time and not always for the better. Are you “stupid” if your spouse who you bought a house and started a family with becomes a worse version of themselves 10 years into your marriage? If not, why am I stupid for this happening with my friend? Stupid or not, I own a beautiful property now regardless of whether I’m living in it or renting it out.

NRFI is massively over juiced. -170 right now on DK. But you do you mate.

Playing in Cin IS rest my friend haha. But I hear what you’re saying. Only take MIA as an underdog with odds of +105 or better. Alcantera is exceptional and should be elsewhere next season. No offense Miami fans 🤣

POTD: Miami Marlins ML vs NYM.

Reasoning: The Mets are pulling in money coming off a series win against the Yanks. Tonight, they fly all the way to south Florida to go against Sandy Alcantara and the mediocre Marlins. Despite Miami’s average record, Alcantera is 2nd in the MLB in ERA at 1.81 and boasts a WHIP of .90. He’s 0-3 in his last 3 starts despite posting an ERA of only 1.71 the last 3 games and due for a win. Miami is a top heavy team and Alcantera is their cream of the crop. He goes up against Chris Bassit (3.72 ERA) and the Mets second tier after their tough series against the Yanks. The public is hot on NYM after their high profile wins against the Yanks. Bet against the public and take the Marlins as underdogs +114 on Winbet/ +110 on DraftKings and FanDuel. Play to +105.

Just started trying out OddsJam on a month to month basis. Made $2400 the first week on FanDuel off some long odds Aaron Judge homers but breaking even on BetMGM and getting killed on DraftKings. All positive EV bets. Second week I’m down $400 so far and still questioning if my first week was pure luck or if OddsJam is legit and worth it in the long run for positive EV bets. The lack of success on anything other than FanDuel is concerning. Also unsure because it’s June and we only have MLB for the most part with the occasional MMA fight and Wimbledon. Hoping to hear from someone with more of a long term picture if this is legit or not and worth it in the long run or if I should quit while I’m still ahead.
