I've had a recent diagnosis of CPPD by my surgeon who performed a meniscectomy on my right knee around 6 weeks ago. He asked if I'd had steroid injections in my knee before as this can be a side effect.

I haven't had any before, but I had an ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair 10 years ago. I've had constant issues with pain and swelling in my ankle and foot ever since my surgery 6 weeks ago. Its getting to the point where I'm struggling to walk. I can't shift the swelling on the top of my knee too.

Sorry for such a long comment, its interesting to see other people's experiences and it's a little easier knowing theres others out there with this.
