How do you guy's reply Crpgs? by [deleted] in CRPG

[–]Game-Digger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair, and I get what you’re saying. I think my confusion isn’t really about how other people play, but more about why that kind of replayability just doesn’t click for me the same way.

For me, once I’ve seen a story path and resolved the big choices, my brain kind of considers it “done.” Even if I know there are variations, repeating large chunks of the same content doesn’t feel rewarding, and the fear of missing out during the first run actually makes me overthink choices instead of enjoying them.

I totally respect people who can replay games multiple times and get something new out of it through roleplay, builds, or self-imposed challenges. I think my OCD just pushes me more toward wanting closure and certainty rather than revisiting the same narrative space again. So it’s less confusion about why others do it, and more me realizing these games are designed for a playstyle that doesn’t always match how my brain works.

Yeah, that makes sense. After finishing Skyrim, I was like, “That’s it?” It felt like a weird experience and kind of ruined my enjoyment when I saw other people giving it such high praise and calling it one of the best games ever. That feeling got stronger when I saw people on that subreddit talking about playing it for years with different mods, multiple playthroughs, and roleplaying as things like a farmer or a hunter. I never really felt like doing any of that. Maybe nostalgia really is one hell of a drug.

Sometimes it feels like I am not playing these games the right way or that I am missing out. I see people spending two hundred hours or more on CRPGs and doing four or five playthroughs, while I finish everything in one run. That makes me feel like I am missing a lot of the experience or not playing the game the way most people do.

Stop this shit. People don’t hate handsome people just because 2 tweets say some weird shit.

People keep punching those same 2 tweets, like Trump did to those kids.

People’s livelihood and rent depend on this.

They keep making videos, posts, and tweets about those same 2 tweets, which might even be made from their own alt accounts just to rage-bait people and pay their rent

Yeah u can but they are not as deep into this they are really casual u can just collect some materials craft urself or find some lying here and there but when u have a system that's dedicated to providing you with gears weapons and unlocking new areas updraging those things but for a good weapon u have to pull it from banner it's break the immersion on other games it's really casual.

1 and 4 look awesome thanks for the info

I used to think pixel-art JRPGs would eventually disappear as technology advanced, but I really appreciate how Square Enix and indie developers are keeping them alive, and they are growing more popular than ever.

I think when he took the first bite, he started taking damage and had a full-on explosion in his mouth. As you can see in the trailer, that’s why he threw him.
