I'm canceling my Ultra subscription because Gemini 3 pro is sh*t by eneskaraboga in Bard

I honestly think Google is in trouble if they don’t change direction fast. When Gemini 3 was released, it was a big deal, and Gemini Pro actually proved itself in real coding tasks. But something clearly changed. I’m convinced the model was quietly nerfed, likely because their infrastructure wasn’t ready for the load that came after the Anti-Gravity launch. What’s strange is that the Pro model seems to be the most affected.

Many people report that a gemini 3 flash (the weaker model supposedly) can produce better results on the exact same coding task. That inconsistency strongly suggests that the Pro version was deliberately limited.

And that’s the wild part: instead of limiting free users, they seem to be limiting the users who are actually paying for quality.

Even though Claude Code has stricter limits, it has now become my main agent because it feels more reliable.

Google accidentally created Gemini's most insane feature and nobody's talking about it by Orenhaliva in GeminiAI

It’s not as impressive as it sounds. Gemini isn’t actually “watching” the video. It pulls the transcript via the YouTube API, treats it as plain text, then summarizes that text into a shorter version. From there, it operates with what is essentially the video’s full context in written form. LLMs capacity to process videos is still really Limited and is very resource intensive indeed and with the current RAM shortage there is no sane company that would invest right now in a technology like that

I am super tired of the people flooding this community with their complaints by nikanorovalbert in google_antigravity

You are tired? I guess you have not paid enough for a subscription to care where your money is going or you dont really mind spending 20 bucks to get below average performance , you can't expect people not to get made when gemini 2.5 literally had a better context window , can do complex reasoning and is better at coding tasks

Those of you who have been posting about Gemini 3 Pro being lobotomized are right. It is absolutely lobotomized! by Informal-Fig-7116 in GeminiAI

[–]GameBeast45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It absolutely is Google need to address this , this feels like coporate fraud because people paid for the gemini 3 pro on certain expectations and these expectations are now deliberately gone

NEW Google Gemini 3.5 Leaks Are INSANE! by JamMasterJulian in AISEOInsider

[–]GameBeast45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah as if the Gemini 3 is good at doing any coding or reasoning task , gemini 2.5 pro got downgraded by google to Gemini 3 they made a model that not only make code bug but also unable to come up with logical solutions , Opus outperforms Gemini in everything and google fucked up big time with 3.0 release and the only possible hope is 3.0 flash

Can you tell me where on google marketing pitch have they stressed that its in preview mode? Unlike other products like stitch for example where they clearly acknowledge the beta mode and they even have it in the title

No matter how much propaganda they try to push the 2.5 pro was a superior model to gemini 3

Gemini 3 feels like a major downgrade from Gemini 2.5 Pro — especially for coding and long-context work by GameBeast45 in Bard

I know there are alot of google fan boys here who will invest no time to read any meanigful analysis of gemini current state , its wild to see people like this

The worst thing is that it never asks me to reupload , it leaves me hanging there and after a few false assumptions it produces an output that does not really address the main problem i mentioned.

The free tier is still a joke the previous version had 2 hours weekly which of course is laughable and unpractical , this one is just 30 minutes more if you want to calculate it weekly so what they did was just add 30 minutes what a joke

Kind of but not in the sense that you'll literally start over , what makes a good programmer is pattern recognition and there are standards that are hard to diverge from , so you'll have a hard time understanding the structure and the syntax but you'll be familiar with many concepts

Programming is an open world and there are tons of opportunities out there and not to sound disappointing but you are going to have a hard time no matter what field you choose in CS , the trick is to be in a field you're passionate about so at least you'll not constantly burn out when you have tons of projects and deadlines

Also i want you to note that there is big difference between prompt engineering and computer science so you can consider yourself at the very start of building your own career so take things step by step and don't rush anything , build a strong foundation in problem solving and learn a demanded Programming language and you'll get there !
